Came to the hotel on an Alfa coach holiday, all staff members very polite and helpful. Facilities clean and tidy. Would recommend to all my family and friends. Our coach driver Shaun, brilliant guy looked after all of his passengers. His a joke, kept everyone entertained.||Keep up the good work guys.

Great Location on the seafront near the Pier. Nice looking large hotel. Sea View room. Generally friendly staff. Free parking during our stay. Breakfast was a bit bland. Otherwise no complaints. UPTADE: A few weeks after our stay I received a notice of a fine for using the car park, even though we had registered our car at reception upon arrival. I called the hotel. They took some details, and assured me the fine would be cancelled, which it was.

Stayed five nights on an Alfa trip. Room very clean and serviced well every day. We were in room 37 on the second floor, very handy as it is right next to the lift, no noise from it at all. Meals were quite good, and Maria our waitress was excellent. As my wife is GF and dairy free, she couldn't have done better. All taken care of. We found the place to be bright and clean. The bar was fair, and staff good.Entertainment a bit mediocre to be fair, have had better in other Alfa hotels. However we sat on comfortable seating in the lounges and chatted with friends. What needs to be done, well nothing serious. The window needed cleaning outside (we looked out over two slate roofs), and the outside paintwork needs doing. More long term it could do with double glazing, although having said that it was very quiet anyway. All in all a good stay in a smart hotel, and smart polite staff.

As coach holidays go ,this is the best accommodation we have stopped in . We have been using coach tours for twenty years. We started using Alfa about 5 yrs ago and in our experience use better hotels than its rivals. Every thing about the hotel was quality.

Honest opinion. Our room was absolutely awful. Beds were squicky and uncomfortable. Room was dark and small. Dated. Bathroom so small you can't get dressed inside. Staff helpful but charge for everything even car park. Location was great.

Informed at breakfast by a lady with a strong eastern European ones accent in a stern voice after we had taken table 1 on a self service breakfast that we should have been on table 31. No one informed us. Coffee was weak, orange juice wasn't (suspect was orange squash) but apple juice and cooked breakfast fine. Rest of stay good. Location great for pier and town Fyi hotel is used by a lot of elderly coach parties.

I have stayed here before. I had a few problems but in the end they were sorted. The hotel needs updating, ie single glazed windows. My stay there was lost week and the weather was cold so the bedroom was cold, there was no heating on in the hotel. But I was given a oil fire for my room, it was needed to keep warm. At the bar I asked for a soda water, was told 60p. Then told no charge, that night at the bar I was told 60p. I said it was free earlier, no charge then. I wouldn't go there again.
