Only stayed one night. We were in front ground bedroom. Could hear traffic outside but wasn't load enough to bother us. Room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was very nice. Good selection of cereal and juices. Rated 2 star but don't let that put you off. We've stayed in 3 and 4 stars in worse state. Would stay again definitely.

Really impressed with this hotel. Situated next to the railway and the busy main road, we heard none of it. Lovely little garden. Spacious car parking. Clean reception. Narrow corridor with occasional uneven floor. (My room was first floor, no idea if there are rooms suitable for wheelchair users or others that require ground floor).Room was lovely, spacious as was the en-suite.Only serving breakfast so eating out for dinner.Would I use this place again? Absolutely.

Our room (9) was clean and well maintained as was the bathroom. The breakfast was good with sufficient choice and eaten in the rather splendid conservatory. The room wasn’t large but had plenty of storage. …

We chose this hotel because it was 100 yards from the railway station. ( Day trip to Brighton ). The hotel looks very dated and in need of a face lift , which can be said for our room ( 6 ) .we thought we were in a time warp and gone back to the 50s ,say no more , other rooms appear to be more updated. The food and service were very good ,with a large car park .

Very friendly and polite staff who carried our luggage upstairs to our room. Exceptionally clean room and restaurant. Breakfast very nice but could offer a few more options like plain yoghurt, fresh fruit salad and porridge. …

We were unable to reserve hotel downtown via remotely (due to their website scheduling app) , so we choose this hotel. It ended up to be best decision! Hotel is located close to train station. Easy walk to hotel, and 5 minute walk to downtown. Very busy road, but quiet in hotel. Hotel has great breakfast, and bar for drinks after long day or touring. I would definitely stay again. Don't let the 2 star rating discourage you. Great hotel.

Clean and comfortable. Staff are welcoming and nice. Bed and pillows are comfortable for me. Shower has good water pressure, but the exhaust fan in the toilet was not working when I was there. TV has good program selection. Plenty of cupboards.

Stayed here for one night with family. Booked a double room and a single room. The rooms were basic but had everything you need. The rooms were clean too. On arrival, we booked in early and the rooms were already ready. …
