Stayed in the Shepherds Hut mid Sept and have to say the place is brilliant. Andy really looked after us without being intrusive. Great mix of comfort and getting back to nature. Everything was spotless on arrival and didn’t take long to settle in. The hut has everything you need and seriously warm if you light the stove on a cooler evening. Loads of walks / bike rides in the area but best was the fire pit, listening to the owls and watching the rabbits. The village is a short drive / 15 min walk for supplies so you’re never far from anything but has a great feeling of being remote. Can’t wait to try out the Yurt next time! Looked amazing.

Orchid Yurt on Pepperscombe Farm was idyllic from start to finish. We stayed for a weekend with our 4 year old son and fell in love with the place from the moment we arrived. The setting is gorgeous-a valley with lush trees all around and plenty of grass to run around on. The view at sunset is extremely calming and beautiful. Inside the yurt is so spacious and has everything you need-a log burner, comfy bed and a decent size fridge for your wine and beers! Waking up to bird song and sunshine blazing in through the roof light was blissful. The shower is nice and hot and if you open the window you can shower with the best view down the valley. The wood fired hot tub was a big hit all round. Easy to use and a real treat to climb in at sunset and just take in the nature all around you. BBQ facilities and super easy access into the picturesque village of Steyning with a fab local pub- makes this place truly special. Andy- the owner is a really nice bloke -very helpful-and quick to respond to any questions we had. We are already dreaming about returning to this little slice of heaven!

We’ve stayed at the cottages at least 6 times over the years. The accommodation is spacious and warm. It has everything you need for a home from home self-catering break. It is all on ground level. The patio area is safe for dogs.It is in a lovely location looking out to the nearby hills.Visiting relatives during our week’s stays. We enjoy sitting outside looking at the views and listening to wildlife around. The South Downs are up the hill and there are so many walking options nearby. The lower and upper horseshoe walks are on your doorstep. One way or another you’ll find yourself in Steyning. It is about 15 mins slow walk to the cottage on your return. You may wish to contact the owners if you have any concerns about accessibility.

Pepperscombe Farm was the perfect place for our family break. The setting is peaceful and the accommodation comfortable. Everything you might need has already been thought of so we felt right at home. Other members of our family stayed in the Shepherds Hut which they also enjoyed. This meant we could have a break with extended family but not feel too on top of each other. We especially loved that you are in a very quiet rural setting but you are a reasonably short walk from the thriving village of Steyning which has plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants.

I travelled to Pepperscoombe Farm with a group of friends from Virginia, USA. We stayed in Coombe Cottage and the Busker Horsebox. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable with everything we needed during our stay, with beautiful views of the scenic South Downs. We enjoyed being within walkable distance of the stunning village of Steyning, with its pubs, shops and restaurants. I look forward to visiting again soon!

We hired the farm's converted horsebox for my daughters 15th birthday. The plan was we'd do some walks and activities during the day. Then make pizzas, and eat them round the fire, before the girls had film night and PJ party in the horsebox. Andy could not of being more hospitable. Helping organise Archery, supplying wood, helping with locations around the farm and so on. The Farm itself is in a stunning location. In the Steyning horseshoe, with beautiful walks and vistas all around the farm, and some good bike trails too! The horsebox is super snug and cosy, with all mod cons and the girls loved it.I've also used the area around the farm for business retreats. Again a perfect location to get away from screens, immerse in nature and think differently. I could not recommend Pepperscombe Farm any more!

One of the few places that is good for dogs, although I would like a bit of garden with it not just a courtyard. Great location, walks from the door, and Steyning delightful. Great for South Downs Way and hill forts of Chanctonbury and Cissbury. Very quiet with beautiful surroundings horses in fields. Accomodation fine for our needs, a little dated but clean, and easy clean tiled floors.
