Stayed here before an early morning flight, great location - right opposite north terminal. Easy check in and comfortable/clean room. Bar area is nice, especially the lovely outdoor seating area with the heaters, we were able to spend all evening out there. Bar staff were friendly and helpful and good selection of drinks. Would stay again.

I recently stayed at the Premier Inn London Gatwick Airport (North Terminal) after a missed flight left me in need of last-minute accommodation. The check-in process was incredibly smooth and quick, which was a relief after a long and stressful day.The hotel's location is unbeatable—literally just across from the North Terminal, making it perfect for early morning flights or layovers. Despite the proximity to the airport, the noise was minimal, ensuring a peaceful stay. The rooms are a decent size, providing enough space to move around comfortably. However, the standout feature was the bed. It was super amazing, offering the perfect level of comfort and support. I had one of the best nights of sleep I've had in a long time.Additionally, the hotel boasts a good restaurant, offering a variety of tasty meals that catered well to my needs after a tiring day. The overall experience at Premier Inn London Gatwick Airport (North Terminal) was excellent, and I would highly recommend it to anyone needing convenient and comfortable accommodation near Gatwick Airport.

Basic airport hotel. Ok for one night. I found the hallways and room to have a strong synthetic smell (probably from carpets) and windows don't open. Aircon switched off automatically in the night, which affected air quality. The shower gel bottle was empty.Unfortunately we were awaken by the fire alarm at 1:15am. The whole hotel had to evacuate for 45min. Appears to have been a false alarm. Destroyed our sleep for the early flight.

We love Premier Inns... The rooms are basic but always clean. This one is very close to the North terminal which is convenient after a long flight. The staff are always friendly and this location is no different. The reason I deducted one star is that the lobby, pub and public areas are very worn and a bit grimy. The upholstered chairs are quite soiled and worn, and the tables have chips and scratches. Many of the tables were dirty and there were piled up dirty dishes stacked on surfaces here and there. There's usually a long wait for the elevators as some were out of service, which was disappointing. Premier offers a lot of value, but their once upbeat and vibrant looking pub, restaurant and coffee shop needs a little love and good scrub down.

Surprisingly pleasant experience. Room was very clean and modern. The bed is excellent and I had a very good sleep. Shower was excellent. Room is quiet despite being at an airport. Check in is via self service screen although staff also available. There is food available on lower floor. Location perfect for early morning departure or late night arrival.

Great value for money. Checking in was easy, room was great, slept well and made it to my flight in time rather than having to wake up at 3 or 4am. I didn’t eat at the restaurant but the food looked good. I would definitely stay again.

Location is great. But hotel is run down now compared to a few years ago.Two of four lifts are broken, so getting around floors is super hard and had long waits (many people giving up and just using the stairs even with luggage). Delays so bad, we got a double charge for the drop off zone as we took 19 minutes just to take suitcases up to the second floor.Room itself small but fine, but stained sheets and towels that were from the last guests left under the beds so not clear how thorough any cleaning is.Didn’t eat as the times weren’t great for an airport hotel,

If you're staying here then it's for one thing and that's easy access to the airport. For that it can't be faulted. It's two minutes walk from the hotel to the North Terminal entrance. In terms of everything else, the stay was comfortable, the bed excellent and the breakfast great value. If you have an early flight out of Gatwick then why would you stay anywhere else.

We arrived a half hour before check in and they wouldn't let us check in those 30 minutes early, which was a bummer, so they said we could wait at the restaurant, we were hungry, but the restaurant was closed. So we had to walk back to the airport and eat there and we came back to check in at 2pm. The person who checked us in was a little abrasive and accusatory when she couldn't find our name/reservation that I had made 2 months prior, but she found it and we got a room. It was cozy and did its job. It was clean and the room experience was good. We would stay here again just for the convenience and ease of lodging.
