Our room was upgraded due to a misunderstanding when trying to book. We had to walk up quite a few steps to get to it but then found a ramp close by. The rooms is spacious, large king size bed, comfy, plenty of pillows.  …

Stayed here for 2 nights while attending a wedding in the area. Generally a decent stay, nothing to write home about. The rooms are in need of a refresh. Clean, but some of the decorative pillows and throws were stained. All of the walls are scuffed. I was expecting more for the price. The most annoying was the shower - the small cabin and fixed shower head made it so difficult to have an enjoyable experience. We didn't try the breakfast, so I cannot speak to that. But the restaurant downstairs looked good and modern. The location was great if you want to be close to the train station, and only a 10 minutes walk to restaurants and shops. Haslemere is not particularly enjoyable to walk around as the sidewalks end abruptly at times. All in all it did the job, it was a quiet location and very nice staff.

We stayed at the Harper’s Steakhouse whilst attending a wedding nearby and had a fantastic time. The rooms are great, bed comfy and the service was amazing. When we were in a rush to leave they packed our breakfast and the staff was always very attentive. Thank you!

I stay at lots of hotels and visit lots of restaurants on my travels for work, and so much out there is not good value for money and not a great experience for people working away from home for business - and on a relatively moderate budget.I stayed in room two. Quite small room but very comfortable and cozy. Easy to park around the back of the towel.Lovely decor inside, and I have to say, the food was fantastic!

Handy location opposite the station; decent amount of parking. My steak was average though most meals in our party of eleven seemed to be OK. The menu does not offer nibbles such as olives, bread sticks etc. When I asked, the waiter offered to put a couple of bowls of crisps on the table - I was rather surprised when they were charged at £3.70 each on the final bill. This also contained an automatic service charge by the way @ 12.5%. This was A Sunday lunchtime and the only visible staff were youngsters (possibly students?) and, whilst nice lads, lacked the professionalism of older staff.

The staff are amazing. It is a massive standout to anywhere I have been they are nice and often include a few small extra things just to please the customer. The dining area is nicely lit and this place is great not only for brunch lunch and dinner but is also a great pub to drink at aswell.

Went in for a nice evening meal while staying in the area for an event. Staff were all very attentive and polite. The restaurant was clean and well presented. Good mixture of nice restaurant and upstairs a more sport bar feel so was able to watch the Game. Great cocktails made with care. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely pop in again for a perfect cooked steak.

Cane to Haslemere for a weekend of walking and relaxing with a friend and Harper’s was the perfect base! Less than an hour from Waterloo and situated right opposite Haslemere train station, the location is perfect. There are loads of fabulous walks nearby - we did an 8-mile circular walk yesterday from the hotel which took us up to the Devil’s Punch Bowl and through some beautiful countryside. There are plenty of great pubs and restaurants in the town plus a Waitrose for picnic lunches! We ate at Harper’s on our first night and the food was great. The atmosphere was really relaxed and the room was perfect for us, we even had a bit of outdoor space with table and chairs outside our room for a morning coffee! The staff are really friendly and very helpful and the breakfast was absolutely outstanding! Highly recommended for a weekend break!

Went specifically to try their breakfast/brunch offerings as they have a decent menu option for those that like that sort of food.Mostly it didn't disappoint. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the food was generally very tasty.Bonus points for serving breakfast waffles as they should be; a giant round thing - not the rectangular over-hard and over-sugared belgian version which ruins most things.Only two small areas of improvements:1) Our table of 8 took quite a long time to prepare the food. We were getting to the point of "should we say something"? A helpful "your food shouldn't be too long now" comment would have been good.2) The Eggs Benedict seemed to follow the trend for restaurants at the moment where they don't toast the muffins and the eggs weren't runny therefore defeating the purpose of the dish. At that point though we didn't want to wait any longer so just put up with it.
