Been here for Sunday lunch carvery recently and had some food during the week.Sunday Carvery - absolutely gorgeous and great value. Lovely meat, great veg and the gravy is delicious. Only thing which is more of a request than criticism would be if the food was piping hot. It's is hot and appreciate it's a carvery, but I do love my food steaming hot. Also stopped by for some food with friends. The food is fantastic everyday as is the beverages. Plenty of huge TVs to watch the sport. Great beer garden with great views.

Food is amazing! Better than your average pub grub. Ordered a 16oz gammon and it was bigger than my head. Annoyingly my eyes are massively bigger than my belly and I barely got through half (I blame the ozempic) and I hope the staff don't think we're rude that we had to run, my partner would of definitely got the rest of the gammon to go but I couldn't wait any longer 😅So glad this place is just up the road for us! Thank you so much! Food and staff 11/10!

Sunday carvery has good selection of meat and veg, I would advise going early as things do run out towards the end and not very warm but as far as carveries go not bad at all. Clean and tidy and friendly staff, would come again . Bar area looks like there's a good atmosphere especially on match days

All the rooms are on the first floor so if you have any mobility issues at all this is not for you. The carpeting of the corridors is mind boggling, uneven and very heavy to walk on. The rooms don't have a chair to sit on , the beds are old and uncomfortable. The bathroom shower has a 12" step up to get into and the shower curtain was so long there was a choice of leaving it outside the shower tray and soaking the floor or having it inside the tray and stifle your washing . No breakfast availability. Very noisy at night from the bar . The evening meal was dreadful, the cod and chips ordered was soaked in oil and was stodgy instead of being crisp, not nice at all .However the lunchtime burger was delicious. If your using this hotel as a stop over for a night or maybe 2 , it might be ok for you.Personally I won't go back there .

My room very clean. Bed comfy slept very well. Hive of activity next morning with staff cleaning inside and the grounds.Walked to Tesco about 5mins to get something for breakfast as they don't serve it.Had the Sunday Carvery with friends which was very tasty but could have been hotter. Will definitely be returning.

Arrived here roughly about 17.00, we were given our key to our room. Room was comfortable, and put our case in then went down to the bar. It was a very nice feel in the bar. The staff were very helpful.
