Very happy with my stay. Booked a family room which was large and very clean. Bathroom was clean with a good shower which is something i really value in a hotel room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. My room was at the back of the hotel which and some beautiful views. this is a good hotel for the price and i would consider it good value for money.next time im in Wales this is defiantly somewhere i would stay again.

A fab little stop off if you’re in the surrounding area. The room was great value for money, bath and a shower. Free WiFi and a complimentary breakfast pack with the refurbishments. The lady who booked us in was so kind and had really good knowledge of the area, I would definitely recommend if you’re visiting

We had a short stay here with our two children. Angi and Tim were fabulous hosts, the family room was great for the four of us and the packed breakfasts were ideal for early starts. Really beautiful surroundings and so close to explore Snowdonia. We also had a journey on the Ffestiniog railway across the road which was a fab day out.

SO... was a cute experience of Wales, not much to do but just booked closest hotel to zipworld which was perfect litrally 5 mins away, staff where lovely, downstairs during evening is like a little nightlife which wasn't noisy and alittle local entertainment out the window added to the funny experience, rooms where not cleaned 100% the top of the wardrobe was FILTHY couldn't believe when I swung my coat and the dust that came down with it was crazy 😶, has a old musty smell to the whole hotel, locallers are nice, good location some Chinese,Indian, kebab and local Caffè around, co-op and Morrisons opposite. but thanks for accommodating me for 2 days 😁

We went for a drink here and Lucy the barmaid was fantastic. She is an asset to the establishment and was a wonderful person to talk with. She was attentive and just a great person to make our trip to the Queens that little bit more special. Would come back just for the quality of service. Thank you!

The hotel double charged us for the room, and when we realised they failed to offer us a refund despite many phone calls and promises that they would. Room itself is very dated and in need of some work. Food in the pub is fairly good.

Very nice bar, with good selection of drinks. Staff are very friendly, as are the 'locals'. Pool table and darts board available. Good menu looks very good too. Nice place for a drink if you're in the town.

Came for breakfast this morning, honestly one of the best vegetarian breakfasts we have seen. Great portions and really good taste, staff were really happy to help and I’ve never met a chef who was as friendly as the chap today. Both me and my partner were honestly really impressed and wished we lived closer to get the breakfast every week. I don’t often review a place but this was exceptional.

The room was perfectly adequate, however, nothing special. Unfortunately, during our stay they weren't serving food but the staff were friendly and helpful, offering local knowledge to help us get around and find what we needed. There isn't much to do in town, but if you're after a practical and comfortable place to stay with friendly staff, this is a suitable choice.

Dirty and tasteless. Just a drink in bar. Poor beer selection. Desperate with time to spare
