My brother booked the Bunk Room for the weekend, it was exactly what we were looking for and didn't disappoint. We were a fairly large party and it was a race weekend, so we felt incredibly lucky that Graham was able to accommodate us.The accommodation itself is clean and well kept. There were a variety of rooms and the location was perfect for exploring the city centre. The kitchen was good, and a nice outdoor area too. Exactly what we needed. All in all a great place to stay and use as a base (the micropub across the road is well worth a visit too) I'd definitely stay there again, next time I'm visiting Chester. If you're looking for basic accommodation without all the whistles and bells then you'll be hard pushed to find better.

I've give 5 stars because for what we paid for a Friday night in the location it's in you can't go wrong. Clean bed and little shower room that's all you need especially if you have been chester live room for a night out. No problems here oh apart from the strange variant of music comming from the top floor room in the building next door, nowt to do with the bunkhouse doh 😀

The rooms are small, basic and with shared facilities like toilet and shower. Don't let this put you off though if basic is what you need, as the price is stunning for chester, especially if you max out the occupancy on a double bunk bed room. It worked out cheaper for me and a mate to have a double room and drive home rather than get a taxi back after a drinking night out. Bumped into graham on the way out (sorted check in via messages), from that short chat he's a friendly guy will get you sortedLocation wise, brook street car park is cheap (cost me 5.50 parking overnight after 6pm into check out 11am). The rooms are 5-10 mins walk from parts of the main shopping street and bars, and the street the rooms are actually on do have a number of eateries and at least one convenience store
