We enjoyed a 4 night break at this lovely hotel. We were in a coach party and on arrival the Manager (and Head Chef) boarded our coach to welcome us. We had a twin room on the 2nd floor which was clean and tidy, nicely aired and fresh. …

Stayed Sunday to Saturday, all in all a very good stay. Great views of the sea and castle from our room on the third floor at the front of the hotel.|Food is good quality and always hot.|Rooms are a bit dated, hence lost the one point from the total score.

Clean comfy bed and room. Food was ok. Staff friendly and the service was efficient. An old hotel so things creak and squeak a bit but clean and comfy all round. Good location too. Nice atmosphere in the bar areas. There was entertainment each night. Or there were quiet places to sit. Would go back again.

If you’d like to sleep past 5.30am then don’t sleep in room 102!! It’s right under the kitchen and the extractor fan is VERY loud. The staff were nice and offered me a different room but at 6am in the morning there was just no point. Rooms are clean but a little old.
