We had a lovely stay at The Saracens Head. The rooms were lovely and clean, the staff were fab, so nice and helpful. Food was pub grub but the hotel breakfasts were amazing! The large full English was the best my husband had ever had and the kids loved the pancakes. The only downside was the rooms have no soundproofing so you could hear a lot but it's probably because it's an old building. Overall I would definitely recommend and I would definitely go back.

Stopped in for a couple beers and something to eat.Lovely friendly staff, really nice interior and good pintsHad a meat "pie" (just a flaky pastry top with the filling in a dish/bowl) and chips, chips were very nice, gravy and meat pie filling were a little bland unfortunately but it was a special so maybe their usual menu items are better?Either way I'd still recommend as it was such a nice place with friendly staff, would definitely go again and try something else from the menu (like I say the chips were great)

Nice pub we stumbled on whilst on holiday. We ordered a range of Sunday roast, lasagne, lamb shank and a seafood basket. Everyone enjoyed their meals! Very tasty and fresh. The Sunday roast was great, huge portions and lots of variety!Would come again, accommodating for our table of 6 people and 4 dogs!

Superb! All the staff go out of their way to do their upmost to help guests and are very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The rooms are elegant and tastefully decorated. The hotel is situated at the foothills of Snowdon, and set within the beautiful town of Beddgelert.

We had Sunday lunch at the Saracens Head as it was the stop off for the steam train trip we were on. We both had the roast lunch option and were blown away by the size and quality of the food. Excellent stuff together with a pint of well kept beer. Thanks to all at the establishment.

A really warm welcome from all the staff, great service, and good pub food. Would happily head back.My only slight criticism would be the limited choice on the kids menu but we just opted for an adult meal split between two kids and staff were more than happy to provide the extra plate.

We been there for a drink after a fabulous day at Snowdon. Such nice space and plenty of seatings inside as well out at front and cross the road beside river. Such romantic and lovely atmosphere. Good and quick service. Friendly staff. We were impressed because been couple of places around area and how they treat their customers. So we ended up to book same table for dinner later which they adjust for us.Had our drinks again and ordered our food which been served popping hot in time. Large portions, tasty food and clean place. Even dinner time it was nearly full packed but still good service in great atmosphere. Dog friendly place. Would definitely recommend.

We were in Beddgelert for a weekend in October and went to the Saracens head a couple of times, for both a pint and also to eat.Every time the service was great. Really friendly and cheerful bar staff.The food was good. We had halloumi, Burger, and Scampi and particularly enjoyed the halloumi and the flavour of the beef burgers.They have a selection of board games in the bar and very dog friendly.Would recommend.

I came to visit this Village and ordered two beef burgers and a cider. The moment the waiter brought my food, I noticed a fried fly right on my burger. The waiter saw it, and I told him that my companion and I couldn't eat the food anymore because seeing that scene made us nauseous. I asked for a refund, but unfortunately, they rudely ignored us.After half an hour, all the kitchen and floor staff attacked us, saying they couldn't refund our money. They all attacked me so aggressively that I had to record the incident with my phone for my own protection. They falsely claimed that we were sitting outside and that the fly landed on the food afterward, even though the fly was clearly fried in oil along with the onion rings.They refused to refund our money, and I had to call the police. The rude, impolite, and aggressive behavior of the staff was truly astonishing. In the end, they didn't refund our money, and I will definitely pursue this matter to the end.I am a restaurant manager myself, and I was truly shocked by such unethical behavior.
