We had a nice stay for our anniversary, the layout of the hotel was a little all over the place but generally the public areas were very nice. The room was clean but needed a bit of redecorating, some peeling wallpaper and general wear and tear. There is a distinct lack of lights both in the room and in the pool area - both are lit exclusively by side lamps which is fine but would be a struggle for anyone with a visual impairment - also the poor lighting in the pool makes the water look milky which was a bit of a turn off for me. Overall a nice experience and suited our purposes but not sure we'll be visiting again.

Stayed for two nights in room 31. Room was clean, bed was comfy and warm but very dated kettle. Lamps had very dim bulbs in all of them and room badly needs soundproofing. Rooms 34 and 35 above room 31 sound like elephants stomping around on creaky floors and you can hear the furniture being moved around in the restaurant below you and the music is on a loop. The spa is great but the hotel feel likes it’s run on a shoestring. Decor badly needs updating. We were advised to book a table in the restaurant for both nights and the first night was lovely sat in the restaurant with waiter service but last night we came down and waited to be sat but no one was around so we went to the bar only to be told the restaurant was closed and food was being served in the bar. Expensive food for a bar meal. Sunday 29th there was no steak, no pork, no garlic bread and two puddings on the dessert menu were also unavailable. The chef waltzed in after 6pm. Waiters and waitresses in the evening are young and need to be a lot more hospitable. The lady who operates the breakfast room both mornings was lovely and professional. Second stay here but cutbacks very noticeable this year.

We held our Wedding at The Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel and it was simply perfect. From the first moment we viewed the hotel we fell in love with it and the Wedding Coordinator is an absolute super star and made the planning in the run up to the day …

From start to finish excellent service. Had treatments done here and they were amazing. Pool sauna steam room loved it all. Food was excellent. Staff were very friendly and approachable. It was my best friends birthday and they made that extra special by bringing out her birthday cake. The therapist gave an amazing treatment so relaxing.

Had a wonderful VIP Spa Day the hotel catered for 20 of us to celebrate a civilised Hen Do. Situated in a very relaxing and quiet place. Lovely pool and sauna area. We had a room to enjoy water, coffee and tea all day which opened onto the patio to enjoy the views. The treatments were amazing, all staff were friendly and helpful. The choices we had for lunch - part of our package was very good too included a selection of cakes. Had a lovely private room to enjoy it. We all had such a lovely day would definitely recommend !

We booked a "superior room" and while the size of the bed and square footage of the room was "superior", the cleanliness of the room, the comfort of the bed and mould on the walls ceiling certainly was not. Even after a morning in the spa I am still suffering from a bad back due to the bed being so uncomfortable. We had to run the bath 4 times before we got clean water, there was an awful taint to the water like there had been something in the pipes that needed clearing and eventually we got it to run clear. We did notify reception of this who was very attentive but could do nothing about what we had found. The food was overpriced but the area is very isolated so we were very much a captive audience. The showers in the spa were awful, I had to try 2 showers before finding a third that actually worked but the cleanliness of this area was abysmal.
