Firstly, this is a charming period property so expect the associated creaky floors and a bit of updating required in places. However, I’d definitely recommend this hotel. The location and setting is beautiful. …

Went there for lunch on the 2nd October. Met up with relatives over from Australia. Absolutely lovely hotel, staff were very good especially Hannah our lovely waitress/server for the day. Couldn't do enough for us, she was so good, a great young ambassador for the hotel. Will definitely return, hopefully next time to stay.

What an absolute gem of a hotel, gorgeous location, buildings, grounds, exceptionally dog friendly....and that's just the start. Surprisingly short distance from the M4...but you'd never know it, such was the tranquil rural setting. From arrival to departure every single member of staff couldn't have been more friendly, helpful, efficient and accommodating. Absolutely delicious food, served with grace and smiles along with pleasant conversation for both breakfast and dinner...with linen table cloths and napkins (and we didn't even eat in the main restaurant!).

Wow, what can we say apart from a big thank you to everyone at Coed-Y-Mwstwr for making our day so special. We got married on Saturday 24th August. We first looked at this venue in April 2022 and as soon as we stepped foot inside, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. The grounds are breathtaking and the Folly was the ideal place for our summer wedding! The whole process from the day we booked up until our wedding day, was spotless. The service we received from Megan, Rachel & Tegan was outstanding. The staff on the day couldn’t do enough for us. From bringing breakfast up to the room, calming my nerves and just being very friendly throughout the day. We've been happily married for 2 months now and we still talk about how perfect the wedding day was.A big big thank you,Mr & Mrs Archbold*all photos by Darren Thomas Photography*

We have just had a very successful college reunion with 38 75+ year olds staying at the hotel. The service we received was exceptional, from the start of planning a year ago until the event itself.
