What a lovely place. The hotel is in a beautiful spot, staff are so friendly. We had breakfast and it was delicious. The rooms are lovely, I’d say they need a slight update, but the bathroom was lovely. All in all I would definitely recommend and stop there again. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

Hidden gem - we had an absolutely fantastic couple of days here with the kids. We stayed in room 8 which had bunkbeds for the kids and a lovely big bed for us. All comfortable. Only thing to warn is for those who sleep lightly we could hear next door. They were not loud, just very thin walls. If that annoys you, likely not the room for you. We were so tried after days walking / hiking that we passed out. Staff are so lovely and kind making the stay extra enjoyable. Food was lovely not a bad meal breakfast or dinner. We would absolutely look at coming back.

Wonderful location, friendly staff. Tempting dinner menu. I say tempting because the dining room is totally closed on Tuesday and they only have a very abbreviated menu for dinner on Monday.  …

We stayed for one night and had an evening meal. From the initial welcome to leaving the service and staff were brilliant.A great location, a fantastic building that's well maintained and clean. The evening meal was really good and they were more than happy to cater to our dietary needs.Negatives... Parking can be difficult at times but just park around the back. You won't get told off 😁 There isn't a lift so ask for a ground floor room if you're going to struggle.Thoroughly recommended.
