We visited Llandudno on 23 Oct and looked for somewhere for an evening meal. The Merrion was our choice based on the friendliness of the staff when we enquired, the cost of the three course evening meal with good choice of menu and that they had entertainment following the meal.We had a wonderful evening. The staff were very friendly, polite and very conscientious. The meal was well presented and we enjoyed everything. Following the meal there was tea/coffee available in the bar. The singer was Carly, who was very warm and interacted with the audience. She has an amazing voice and we were able to sing along and have a dance as well.We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would recommend the hotel. We can’t comment on the rooms because we didn’t stay at the hotel but other guests were saying how lovely it was at the hotel. If we visit Llandudno again we would stay there.

The hotel is spotless. The food is excellent and very plentiful. The entertainment was very good although because there was a coach party in it was not possible to get a seat to enjoy it. …

Having not long returned from a lovely restful time at this hotel. The hotel is ideally situated as across the road you have the seafront and pier and just around the corner not far away you have the shops. …

A lovely little hotel. Nice and clean. Facilities were basic, but everything you needed. The staff are very welcoming and I must say, the breakfast was one of the best I've experienced in hotels. All round a really nice experience.

Visited The Merrion Hotel for the second time from 21st October 2024 - to Friday 25th October 2024 . The Merrion Hotel was hosting a bridge holiday as it was on our previous visit . Our earlier visit was in December 2022 and our group had been the only clients . This time the hotel was very busy with lots more happening including nightly entertainment in the bar area . The menu was more extensive with about 9 different main courses and superb starters and sweet courses .

My Mum and friend, aged 90 and 86 spent a happy 4 days in great comfort with great food in this well maintained family run hotel. One room only had a bath for which access was a problem but she hadn't told them of her disability!
