I never scored the rooms, as I've never stayed there. If you want traditional pub grub, then this is for you. The food is lovely and we've never had a bad meal there in all the times we've been. There's a good selection of food and drinks.

Chose the guildhall for a roast dinner as we've been before at Christmas time and the food was lovely. Service wasn't the best at all on our visit this time. There appeared to be one lady running around doing everything (although towards the end of our meal there were lots of staff so presuming they all took their break at the same time) . Took a long time to get our drinks when we first arrived. The food came out and was disappointing compared to last time. The veg looked like it had been sat for a while and the beef had no real flavour . Such a shame as it was lovely on our last visit.

We stopped in Denbeigh looking for a late lunch on way back from Snowdon. Found this gem and what can I say the service was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious. Best pub food had in a very long time. Would definitely drive out from home (40 minutes) for great food and lively relaxing place.

Here is history old and new. Deep in the heart of Wales in a place called Denbigh there's a tavern with an amazing history. Ask inside for details of the well. Rooms steeped in history and locals with lovely smiles and bar staff attentive to help you enjoy your day. Ot boasts accommodation a bar, private rooms and walls full of local history and curiositiesThere's an amazing beer garden hidden on a crop with stairs to a view you have to be sober to appreciate. I imagine it's lively in the evenings but I'd visited during the day. Along with all this is a nightclub and events area where I noticed " open mic comedy" nights . Sounds fun. Located behind the main road away from the hustle and bustle, nestled in the heart of Denbigh you'll find this diamond.

This place is a very lovely pub for meals and I have been here several times now since working in Denbigh. Thank you so much for your wonderfully generous raffle prize donation to Myddelton Prep School. We raised over £450 in the raffle which will pay for new books for the school library.
