Come here briefly for a birthday party in the function room. Staff were very helpful and the drinks being served were cheaper than most pubs around the local area.

Our local pub, having moved to the area a couple of years ago. Whilst the decor is not as modern as some chain pubs it more than makes up for it by the good value it provides, along with a welcoming staff. As mentioned by others in their own posts, the carvery is well worth a visit on a Sunday lunchtime !!!!!!

Very popular truck stop, it was a rainy day on the campsite so we thought we would have a brunch - delicious, home cooked and MASSIVE! I can see why it's so popular.Friendly, cheerful staff and inexpensive - it's a yes from me Simon....

This place looks really nice but please DON'T STAY the place is filthy and the smell hits you in the face when you walk in. As I went up the stairs my hand stuck to the banister it was that dirty. I wouldn't even have a cup of tea here if the room is that bad then my only guess is what is the kitchen like .

We stopped by a couple of times on trips to Weston and found the staff here really friendly. I wouldn't call it 'Scruffy' or 'Dirty' as other people have said, but it is certainly not modern and could do with a refurb. I found the place to be clean and tidy with a real friendly atmosphere. The toilets were clean and fresh and with regard to hygeine, I saw the lady wash her hands between every customer she served food to, so I think some of the comments here are really quite unfair. I wilk definately stop by next time were in the area.
