Spent a night at the Arbour hotel with the wife and it was such a beautifully designed interior I'm still dreaming about it. The staff were so lovely and kind and the view was to die for. The rooms were a bit congested but we only needed the bed really to sleep on. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was really good and the weather was so nice and pleasant it all really made the experience one to remember.

Inexpensive hotel in a great location if you're visiting Barmouth. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the communal areas have been refurbished to a good standard. Our room was dated, but clean and comfortable. It didn't have a shower which was a shame.

The hotel is spotless, my sister and I had an ensuiite twin bedroom with a sea view and very comfy beds. We had a good variety of very tasty food and as a bonus the weather was fantastic. Many thanks for a lovely holiday.

HOTEL CLOSED 2022. This was a nice place, nice people, nice food. I stayed many times. New owners bought it in November 2018 & renamed it, "Barmouth Sands Hotel." Barmouth information centre July 2022, told me that the property is now closed and awaiting a new buyer. I hope they find someone soon.

We visited the hotel for 3 nights from 4th Feb 19. Room 34. The food is cooked from fresh - the breakfast and evening meals were excellent. (Yes, there is a delay while it is cooked for you once you have ordered, but that does not detract from the quality of the meal being served!!!!) The staff are very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The downstairs of the hotel has been completely refurbished to a high standard, and the upstairs is also undergoing refurbishment. The sea views are stunning. We will definitely be returning later in the year and hopefully the "wellness suite" will be completed. Thanks to all the staff or an amazing break! by Denise Richardson and Tina Latham, Peterborough and Stoke on Trent.

Check in was quick and friendly, breakfast was good. The room was a little dated but huge for a family room and beds were comfy. Location however is spot on, cross the road you are on the beach, 2 min walk left and you're in the town!
