09.08.24-10.08.24Could not be more helpful, we’re the family who were waiting for AA to help with our car after we got stranded in the mountains. We had to book really last minute at about 10pm and they got us a room for all five of us and our small dog. The beds were super comfortable and a nice sizeable room.We got a full English breakfast included in the morning which was lovely and well prepared. The morning while we were waiting for a replacement taxi we were able to leave our luggage in the reception area while taking our dog out and able to wait in the bar for hours. All the staff were lovely especially the man serving breakfast and working the bar. Thank you so much from the Parry family 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿❤️

Ideally situated in Bala with a good private car park. But the hotel is very dated and needs money spent. The bedroom is the worst I’ve stayed in for decades - worn and damaged mattresses (we had three beds and all were the same), dated and worn bed linen and pillows, one damaged bedside lamp for three beds, noisy, dirty and worn bathroom. As much as I’d like to, I simply cannot recommend staying here. The staff are lovely and do their very best but the bedrooms let it down.

Our room hadnt been updated in at least 10 years! Old saggy mattress with protruding springs, smelly towels and bedding. The flattest pillows I’ve ever seen. Dirty shower that overflowed, half a toilet roll that ran out! Disgusting kettle with black gunk inside. The noise level was off the scale! Mainly from staff shouting to one another on the landing and stomping about in the rooms above. We paid over £100 for one night in this hell hole, woken at 6am by the lumpy bed & noise from the staff rooms above we were out of there by 7! AVOID!!

Stayed one night (last night) paid £57 for one night with breakfast staff are friendly and welcoming I had the lasagna for an eveing meal portion size was really good. Tasty and worth the money. The room had an ensuite with toilet, shower and wash basin. Towels provided. I the room was a tv, tea and coffee, and 2 single beds. Very nice comfy beds. Do not expect the Ritz but I certainly would not hesitate staying again. I was on a work trip. Breakfast was cooked well and was enough. Can not fault my stay.
