This was a late booking, but I'm glad I did choose Bryn Woodlands. I received a warm welcome, room was ideal for my needs, clean and comfortable. There was an excellent selection for breakfast.I asked for a recommendation for evening meal on arrival. Table was booked for me, I was not disappointed. (Portuguese Pizza & Grill). I would be looking to book again when next in North Wales for business or holiday.

The accommodation was easy to find and we were able to park on the driveway. The hosts Joel and Tracey were very friendly and welcoming on arrival. Our ensuite room (room 9) was on the second floor. It was clean and the double bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom were dated and in need of refurbishment. The decor made the room feel dark and claustrophobic. However, we did see some of the other rooms as they were being cleaned. They had modern refurbishment and the decor was light and neutral. The breakfast was excellent with an extensive menu. Regular refills of toast and hot beverages were offered. Breakfast cereal, fruit and yoghurt were provided in addition to the hot breakfast menu. The property is within close walking distance to the beach, shops and local restaurants.

Thank you for having us. Tracey and Joel are lovely hosts who are very accommodating and made us feel welcome. Our family room was great as had a separate room for the kids (great for a bit of space) with ensuite facilities in both. Very clean and though compact, had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

This is a lovely hotel in Colwyn Bay and is a short walk from the station and bus stops! The owners are really helpful and the rooms are really lovely! Breakfast is included and is all local produce, which we liked, and they are delicious! The room we had was a good size and very comfortable! The price is brilliant too!

Just back from a 2 night stay. Joel & Tracy are fantastic hosts - very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was large and had all we needed - spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. Breakfast was a highlight - very tasty and copious amounts of tea (Yorkshire our favourite!) and toast. A great stay.

Lovely boutique style room, with good facilities and clean bathroom. The bathrobes and soft towels which had been placed on a warm radiator was a nice touch. Breakfast is included in the price and was fabulous. Definitely value for money and the service was very helpful.

A lovely place to stay, thoughtfully decorated, with comfortable rooms, and above all very accommodating hosts who made us feel very welcome, even though we made a mistake while booking. The breakfast was great and though we were just passing through for one night, we're already planning on coming back. The house's location is ideal, just a couple hundred metres away from the railway station, yet very cozy and quiet. Many attractions in the area are unfortunately most accessible by car. But with a good pair of legs you can make it work and experience the beautiful nature in this part of Wales to boot.

I choose Bryn Woodlands because of the good reviews and it did not disappoint. Joel and Tracey were very welcoming and looked after us extremely well. All emails were replied to promptly and nothing was too much trouble. The bed was so comfortable and the breakfasts were super with lots on offer. An added bonus is the proximity of the rail station, so handy for walking the coast path. This is the place to stay!
