Nice place to wile away a couple of hours whilst the kids are on the beach. Reasonably priced drinks and food. Staff recommended the burger. The burger was good. Fish and chips looked great.

The hotel has an extraordinary location right on the beach, and if you’re fortunate to have rooms at the front, you’ll have a direct view. Quaint village with pubs and cafés and a very accessible beach. The rooms are basic as is the service and the food, but the location and situation are amazing.

An absolute gem of a place slap bang on one of Wales's best beaches. A friendly bar with a selection of local ales and an affordable menu offering a good range of dishes for all tastes, whether in the restaurant or out on the hotel's beach …

This was the worst customer service experience I have encountered in Wales. Myself, my partner and 2 children decided to visit the pub for a hot drink (Monday 19th August) to get out of the wind and rain. …

What can I say? The pub is nicely situated next to the beach in picturesque Aberdaron, but its staff didn't really make us feel welcome. Admittedly, we came without booking, but were happy to be shown a table ("first come, first serve"). After about 10 minutes, in which we got our drinks and had a look at the menu, we were asked to leave the table and go to the waiting area. Having waited there for more than half an hour, the staff told us that they had issues with the kitchen and didn't know when/if they could serve food. Call it karma or whatever, but we were not the only ones leaving disappointedly.Would come back for the view, but not really for the service. Can't say anything about the food.

Great food great service great location. Where better to eat your evening meal that in the the Tŷ Newydd Hotel. Situated on the sea front with amazing views over the sea. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was great. Only one critique and that was that the pepsi was very flat. Will definitely be returning
