Good service considering they were busy, good selection of drinks. I thought the food was a bit disappointing, the starters were fine, the ribs were noteworthy. For the mains, my burger was okay, main problem was that I didn't think the Argentine loaded fries were very nice and they were like ÂŁ20, they were very oily/greasy and felt like they were lacking something.I would recommend their Sunday roast, it was an interesting take on a roast and I felt like that one was very good value for money.I'll use Reubens in the future, but I don't think I'd splash out on their more expensive items again.

Start with the bad (not that there was much bad) the milkshakes really took a long time to arrive, but this me being very picky.The staff were all extremely professional and friendly, orders were all taken correctly and food came out in a very timely manner.The food itself was great as usual, and very filling.Thank you Ruebens for the great evening and the food. Myself and my friends really enjoyed ourselves.

We went for food here last night after seeing pictures online. The service was impeccable. Tom was lovely and accommodating. The cocktails were lush, especially as it was happy hour. The food was to die for and came out hot. Will come again.

I have been using Ruben’s for over a year and until this evening would have given the five stars . This evening I order as normal through the just eat app, after an hour I called just to check on the order as was told it was already out for delivery it will be with you in a few minutes. After twenty more minutes I called back to ask to cancel the order as it still hadn’t arrived and too late now. I was told please let me call the driver and will get back to you straight away. After 5 mins the food was delivered by a young girl who I interesting saw drive past 10 minutes before this, I expect now trying to find the house. I brought the food inside opened up to find it pretty much cold and the fries soggy. I called back and asked why I hadn’t received the call back and was told he didn’t have my number, I explained the situation with the driver and the food as was told that this is not true and the food was not cold. I requested a refund and was told call just eat then. Very very very poor service I will not be using again. Such a shame really as the food and service to this point has been brilliant. Be careful

Loved our nights stay, comfy bed...little toiletries, tea, coffee and chocolate drinks, bottled fresh water, cereal and breakfast bars...fresh milk in the fridge.. Clean and tidy, very quiet..excellent stay. Unfortunately I forgot to take pics at the beginning..just at the end.

While the mussel juice did make the fries a bit soggy, the flavors were spot on. The combination of the succulent surf elements with the hearty turf ingredients created a mouthwatering treat that I would recommend trying despite the slight texture issue.The crackling was another highlight, perfectly crispy and flavorful, adding a nice contrast to the rich BBQ dishes. It’s clear that a lot of attention is paid to getting the textures and flavors just right.Reuben’s also boasts a large selection of beers, which is perfect for pairing with their robust BBQ offerings. Had a delivery from Reubens Whitchurch tonight and hands down it was the BEST it’s ever been. Absolutely cooked to perfection buffalo bill chic burger was melt in your mouth and burger pattys are that homemade they ain’t even round. What an absolute treat. Thanks to all at Reuben’s best food place in Whitchurch. Mikey.

I have now been to this restaurant 3 times and I have loved it every time but I must say our last visit was brilliant.We came to celebrate a friend’s birthday, this was a surprise and she didn’t know we were coming or that are friends would be waiting for us at the table. They were very discreet and made sure not to tell us the rest of our party were already there.We were served quickly and the young server did very well to handle all 7 orders that were being told to him. He even repeated the order to ensure that nothing was missed.Everyone enjoyed their food and it came very quickly. We even had a birthday cake that was bought to us by the staff who were all singing.I cannot rave about this place enough. Tom was our main server and he was absolutely fantastic and he had help from the equally brilliant Ellie. I’m sure we will be back!!

Great location in the centre of town. Parking was easy and reasonable.|Visiting a restaurant which was just around the corner.|Room was nice with comfortable beds and plenty of tea and coffee, cereal and milk also provided.|Cleanliness was acceptable but maybe additional checks needed .|Would recommend and return.
