We didn't stay, just had dinner & very nice it was as well. 2 pie od the weeks which was Steak and Guinness, one burger and one kids meal which the chef made up for our daughter on hearing that she didn't like chips, so he grilled some chicken and served it on a plate of plain linguine.... Perfect (apparently)

Come here regularly and have found it hit and miss with the draught beer. Often there is some Hancocks but any replacement is too strong and the Bass drinkers may only get a pint of it. However it was really nice to have a plentiful supply of well kept Bass and Hancocks on draught. Nice fire too! Hopefully it'll stay this way!

We had lunch on a weekday at the Bull's Head. Everything was very good, but the seared scallops on lobster bisque risotto stsrter was absolutely to die for. We also had pate, Caesar salad and grilled ram, all very good. Also, the serving size was more than generous. The only thing that I did not like, and indeed does not seem typical of this place, is the cup and saucer of my tea. They both were not very clean. The place itself is beautiful inside out, very comfortable, the service is friendly and professional and there is a good atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Well positioned historic hotel with comfy rooms .||I’ve rated it less on cleanliness as whilst we were at breakfast , a dog, on a lead was sniffing at and licking the crockery on the stands in the bar. …

Loved this place. Accommodation in main hotel absolutely gorgeous. Very traditional in hotel. Good vibes and very popular. Only downside no immediate parking. But there is parking along the estuary. Loads of spaces £8.00 for 24hrs. Would definitely return.

Delightful pub with inside and outside tables. It is dog friendly. The food is really good with a good variety of options. This evening I had Seafood Linguine which was yummy. My husband had a Steak and Guinness Pie with nice big crispy chips.

My son and I walked in and managed to get a table. It was rather cold as all the doors were open. We sat there for some time before we realised we had to order drinks and food from the bar - no-one told us that when we sat down. We went to the bar and waited for some time before being served. There were 3-4 members of staff behind the bar who completely ignored us! We did however, eventually get served. The food was okay, not really value for money. My son's steak was unevenly cooked and was quite overdone in parts although he had requested it to be medium rare. It was a little bit of a let-down compared with the Bull's Head Brasserie of some 20 years ago. Paying up front for food means that you cannot add a tip as you don't know what the experience or service will be like! There was one waitress who was working exceptionally hard. It is a shame if she misses out on tips due to this system.

I can’t comment on the accommodation, as I only ate here.My wife and I ate here one night, realised how good it was and so we went the next night too.The food, service, etc. etc. were all excellent. We chose it for our second night because we realised there couldn’t be anywhere better locally.Next time I’m in Beaumaris, this is definitely where I will eat.
