This was mine and the wifes first time at this fabulous little inn. The rooms were a good size and had on-suite. The bar and dining area were very spacious, and the service was great. The food was also delicious. If you do decide to visit, please try the cheese cake (if you can) because it's probably the best I've ever tasted. Would highly recommend visiting this lovely little quaint inn. Will definitely visit again.

We stayed at the Golden Fleece in August for a wedding in Portmerion. We had a lovely stay here!! We had breakfast included by booking directly with them. The food at breakfast was amazing and we ate at the inn for our first evening there and the portion sizes were massive!! Definitely would return when we come back to the area.

On arrrival at reception everything was explained fully to us about the Inn. Our room (13) overlooked the Square was spacious. The tea making and bathroom toiletries were good quality.  …

Double room overlooking the square. Old building & so quite quirky with sloping floor. Very clean. Location ideal for exploring the area. Toiletries, tea & coffee facilities, biscuits, iron, ironing board & hairdryer all provided. …

A lovely place to stay. Room was lovely. Nice towels and toiletries. Had a nice meal, with a good choice of menu, in a great dining room. We had to cut short our stay , owing to a family emergency. Had a lovely message from them the same day. Lovely people. Hope to go back soon.

Just great.Food is good but not outstanding (that's isn't a criticism).Price was very reasonable indeed. Marginally more than a Premiere Inn but better on every way.Staff were fabulous. Our room was perfect, very clean, very nice.Mattress was okay, but not great (but that is clearly a personal thing, it was just a bit too soft for me).Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice.Would definitely stay again

A very welcoming establishment. The room was very comfortable, although slightly awkward doorway (rooms 1 and 3 have a couple of steps leading into the room right at the top of the stairs). …

Upgraded for free by a delightful lady (thank you so much) but the room heating was not great. Breakfast service is designed round walk-ins, which I don't really like. Sadly, dirty glass ware and mugs were offered to us on both days which really needs to be addressed. This is a great location in the heart of a beautiful area and I would stay again but I would like to see some changes.

Friendly staff, comfy bed, nice shower, menu and choice of ales a bit limited. Breakfast good, all done to order so have to wait a little if the person on reception busy, as she seemed to be doing everything from cleaning tables to refilling orange juice. But all done with a smile!
