Lovely food, portions are massive, they could even make them smaller and still be worthwhile. Team were friendly, would recommend more check backs to gain more drink sales. But the bar isn't far away. Would recommend a go if staying in the area.

I recently visited a pub and was pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were absolutely lovely—polite, attentive, and never intrusive, which really enhanced the experience. For my meal, I had gammon. The portion was generous, and it was served well, though preparation can vary between places. It was filling and just what I needed before continuing my journey. For dessert, I enjoyed a sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream—rich, indulgent, and the perfect sweet treat. I also had a cappuccino, which rounded things off nicely.Although I didn’t try any alcohol, the pub had an impressive selection for those inclined. The views were stunning, which only added to the overall experience. All in all, it was a solid meal in a cosy setting, made even better by the excellent service and good portion sizes.

Had dinner here with friends and their well behaved dog last Wednesday. I chose the suet pudding which was excellent, followed by some of the best coffee and Baileys ice cream I've ever tasted. Staff were friendly and very efficient. This roadside gastropub is well worth a visit when you're in the area!

Popped in here for a quick bite to eat. The staff were really friendly, as were the locals at the bar. The food was really good and arrived quickly. We sat outside on a lovely decked area overlooking the beautiful scenery. Can’t fault it, we will definitely return when passing.

We visited The Berwyn Arms at the end of June this year, and were very warmly welcomed by the staff and Sarah, the proprietor. Our room was spacious and very nicely furnished and afforded a spectacular view over the Dee valley. …

Drinks came quickly, but we waited 1hr and 15 minutes for food (we ordered two mains), which we ended up taking away in kebab shop takeaway boxes offered to us… It’s a good job we didn’t order desserts, because they would’ve needed to send them in the post. The staff were kind and genial, but the service was utterly woeful. No warning of a near 90 minute wait on food, and nothing was communicated to us about kitchen issues at any point. The food has saved them from a one star review, it was alright.

A friendly team and fabulous food!My husband and I have just enjoyed a glorious Sunday lunch to celebrate moving to the area a year ago today. It was easy to book, everyone was genuine and friendly, the food was tasty and fantastic value for money too.Highly recommended and though 30mins from our door, we’ll go back again and again.
