I have stayed in a lot of hotels and b&b's through work and weekends away and I can honestly say this was the best one I have stayed in.The initial met and greet from Sue was very nice and informative regarding where to go for Dinner and walks. The rooms were very modern and very clean.Breakfast was lovely and the wine, chocolate bar and hand written letter with the information about check out etc.Met Carl and the little lab puppy.Carl and Sue mentioned they are working on the outbuilding that will be dog friendly. Can't wait for this so we can bring our dong up.Many thanks again and keep up the great work

An absolute gem!We stayed here one night and were kicking ourselves that we hadn't booked for longer. The rooms are roomy and the bathrooms are large. Beautiful views. Little touches like wine and chocolates and a personal, hand-written card make this place a delight. The continental breakfast in the morning was wonderful, with plenty of food if we wanted to have moreSue and Carl are excellent hosts and a wealth of information.Do not pass this place by!

Have literally just left the Old Coach House today, and we already wish we were staying longer! Our entire stay has been absolutely perfect and we wouldn't have changed anything (other than adding a few more nights!). Carl and Sue are the perfect hosts - personable, friendly and accommodating. The property is stunning! I can't get over both how clean it was, and also the beautiful smell (I mentioned how nice it smelled everytime we walked back in!). The views from the rooms and incredible, and there's nothing more relaxing than sitting by the window, eating your freshly made continental breakfast, with the sun shining in, the sounds of birds chirping from the surrounding trees, while watching the pheasants running around the garden. Also managed to get a little fuss with Annie the black lab just as we were leaving - best part of the stay :) I would absolutely recommend staying at the Old Coach House to anyone who needed to base themselves in the area, and we will definitely be back if we are close by.

Absolutely stunning. We sadly only briefly stopped for the night on our way further up north but would have loved to have been able to stay longer. Sue made us feel very welcome when we arrived late and they have both done an exceptional job with their home. Great location, amazing attention to detail and my partner was very happy with the chocolate welcome present! Having breakfast brought to the room in the morning was the cherry on top. It’s easy to see why they have such good reviews.
