There were objective things that were not good and subjective things that were bad. Objectively: the water pressure was very low, using the sink was difficult, also taking a shower. But the worst thing was the poorly functioning toilet flush. In combination with a missing brush, a disgusting affair. Subjective: a strongly scented air freshener was used. This led to severe headaches. We couldn't figure out where this smell was coming from. The worst thing about this thing is that the clothes still smell, despite being washed several times. Overall we didn't feel comfortable here.

What a gorgeous wee find. We stayed here the weekend of Grampian Pride and immediately felt at home. Staff were all really friendly, from management to the service staff...just awesome. Room was big and comfy. Slightly rough around the edges, but aren't we all ☺️. Food was delicious, outside space was a blessing as it was so sunny. And there was a band in the evening (a wee sidenote to Vitamin T as you were bloody amazing with your set list and your fans, a really friendly bunch). I'd love to have this hotel booked on a rolling contract each year for Pride. And it's dog friendly...like proper dog friendly. Cheers for making us feel so welcome xxx

Where do I start out of every single hotel in Aberdeen surrounding the hospital area this hotel was the only one who went over and above to help us with accommodation at the last minute not only that, the kindness on trying to help was outstanding price for a twin room was also the best out of the whole area staff were also willing to go out there way over and above to stay back after there shift to help out as we were being asked to leave the hospital at 11 and wouldn’t make the check in to midnight at this point the hotel normally would be locked for the night. To the gentleman who was on the phone a massive thank you from my family on the kindness on going all out to help out my son. Ps William. Keep up the good work the world need more people like you 🙏

What should you expect for £55 a night in Aberdeen? The hotel room was very dated but functional. The shower head was held up by an electrical zip tie but worked. The toilet seat had almost completely come off but worked, provided you didn’t mind it moving around.OK for the price, but only just.

We went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Absolutely outstanding food. Loved every part of the meal and we will be back here shortly. Literally 2 minutes walk from the park, walked past people queuing out the door at the park cafe and got here to a nice quiet place for lunch. Turned out to have some of the best food we've eaten in a long time. Highly recommend the fish and chips and the onion rings were some of the best I've had.

This was such a lovely place to stay, staff were absolutely amazing, so lovely and friendly. Room was very spacious and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Close to shoos, has a bar and restaurant which we didn't try this time but will definitely try next time. We are definitely looking to come back regularly at least once or twice a month. The only thing we wasn't keen on was the bed as it is quite low and creaky, other than that a lovely place to stay. Will definitely be a regular
