This property is ideal for a big group with plenty of space and plenty of bathrooms. Arthur was very helpful on our arrival and gave us a tour of the property. Ideally we would have liked to have been closer to Edinburgh as it is 40 minute drive but the positive with this house it’s near to the coast so you have a lovely walk to the beach that is accessible and not too strenuous. There are plenty of plates, cutlery etc. Only improvement we would suggest would to have the fridge and cupboards emptied of prior food but this may have been due to the fact we arrived early. As a whole the property was lovely. Hot tub was hard to use but I’m not good with technical things. We would definitely use Arthur again if we are ever coming this way as a big group. Also a note for any questions bus stop is near by with frequent buses to Edinburgh and there’s a Asda near by for any food needs.P.s. Milo Arthur’s dog is very very cute!

DO NOT BOOK. Booked months in advance and confirmed with the owners a week before and day before arriving that everything was ok, only to arrive on the day and the house had been double booked. As you can imagine everyone was very upset, especially as we were a group of 19 so finding anything else would be a struggle. We were offered another house, however this was definitely not as nice as the first and hadn’t been cleaned properly so decided against this and to sort on our own. The owner was very rude and apparently does this very often. One of the WORST experiences! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Terrible experience - I was shocked when I was told that whoever runs St Martins House Apartments had given my booking to another person who’d offered to take the whole place despite me booking it 7 months earlier so we could attend a wedding. I might not have been so upset if I’d been told in reasonable time but I wasn’t. They took my money and didn’t tell me until less than 24hrs before we were supposed to arrive. Even then they didn’t have the decency to message me direct to say they’d bumped me for a better offer - they left it to the poor customer service person at the intermediary site to try to sort it out. I messaged them but of course no apology, in fact no reply at all. There was no other accommodation available nearby at such short notice so we had to change all our plans. If you only book one room and not the whole place be prepared for them to do the same thing to you.

Avoid at all costs. We booked for a friends birthday party and informed the host of this before hand which he agreed to. On the day of arrival he cancelled our booking because he changed his mind and wasnt going to allow a party group. We had no where else to stay and it absolutely ruined our trip and spoiled the weekend for everyone. Absolute disgrace who shouldn't be allowed to rent out his property ever again. Stay well clear of this complete moron.

If you don’t respond to any of the emails been sent to you about your moped parked in my street and should not be here as parking in someone else’s parking space so get rid of it or will be taken away and crushed

We booked St Martin's house very last minute due to our booking at another house falling through the day of departure. So we were all upset as you can imagine, and had no idea what the house was going to be like.When we arrived at St martins house, everything changed. What an amazing space it is. The house is finished to an incredibly high standard and the space for all guests is perfect. The kids absolutely loved the massive projector in the living room, as did the adults. The kitchen is a perfect size and a great place to chat and be at night.We were the first guests after the renovation, so there were still a few things that the owner wanted to add to the house, he told us whilst we were there. The owner lives next door and he was amazing, so accommodating and really lovely. Arthur, the agent was on hand for any problems and also really accommodating.They expected us to treat the house as our own whilst we were there and made us feel incredibly welcome.It was truly a gorgeous place and a great location to see more beautiful spots in Scotland.We would love to go back when the additional bits are finished to make full use of the gorgeous space again.Honestly, we loved it so much.Thanks for saving our week!!

I can’t recommend this house enough. We were highly impressed with the property. Highly clean, comfortable and extremely beautiful.If you are looking for a breathtaking accommodation for a large group of people, don’t hesitate to book this one.You will love it.There is 100% privacy and you will have the house just for yourself.There is also a patio where you can have barbecue.All the rooms have private bathroom which is extremely clean.I will definitely book again here.

We had a fabulous week at St Martins House! The picture's really don't do it justice and it is a fantastic house for a large group of people.It is also in a great location and we loved hopping on the bus into Edinburgh City centre, swimming in the local pool and visiting a beautiful beach nearby.I would highly recommend this place. We were lucky enough to stay in the 'big' room and the huge bed and bifolding windows that stretched nearly the whole length of the wall did not dissapoint!The Projector room was also a massive hit with the kids and the adults.The kitchen was great for cooking for lots of people and a good place to relax in the evening.We had a wonderful week here and we would definitely come back again.

What a gem of a place, very clean comfortable, had a good night sleep, kitchen downstairs is excellent , I wish I had known about this place years ago, shops pub , takeaways is a short walking distance, spot on ten out of ten,

Absolutely beautiful house with lovely comfy beds and large fully equipped kitchen. Also large living room and dining room. Nice and clean and the decor is lovely and modern.
