Liked: Clean, warm and comfortable accommodation after a very long car journey. Bathroom was very clean, not always the case at campsites! Would have liked to have spent more time at Hilly Cow to enjoy the peace and quiet. Host Lesley came by for a chat in the morning and was lovely.

Clean and quiet and funWe went with our 3 children all under 10.The wigwams themselves were clean and comfortable. They look out onto a hay field. There are animals on the farm, but you can choose to interact with them or not.Once my 3 year old discovered there were sheep she could be face to face with, that was it.The owners are all extremely patient, friendly and knowledgeable. If you have any questions about places to go and things to do, they can help you out.The kitchen has almost everything you could need for cooking. There is an indoor entertainment room with games, a TV and table tennis.There is an outside playground.And the toilets and showers are all very clean.Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay outside of the city.

Wow, we stayed here as we needed something near the airport and didn’t want to pay (couldn’t) £400/night. But we lived in and I would totally stay here again and longer. Kids parks, a play room, a kitchen, stunning views. I saw a sign about a hot tub? Lists and lists of local things to do. The wigwam was comfortable to stay in and warm and roomy. Plus staff helpful and responsive.

Loved our stay here at the end of July, views over fields are spectacular, wigwams were clean and comfortable as was the kitchen and games room. Animals to see, plenty of play equipment for kids, who had a lovely time and ran about with other kids no problem. We found the owners helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Have recommended to friends and would happily return.
