I am currently staying at the Clyde Hotel. It is minutes away from the city center and close to the beautiful River Clyde. The place is wonderful and the rooms are good and comfortable. The breakfast food is varied and they have a delicious fresh mushroom dish every day, which is my favorite dish, cooked beautifully. With a distinctive smile from the staff and cleaning service. On average twice per room per week.. I will request a small refrigerator for the room to store some drinks.. The place is beautiful and I recommend trying it

AVOID. Seriously.I'm pretty easily pleased and never write bad reviews, but these guys properly screwed me over. Showed up in June to check in (having booked in summer of 2023) ahead of a concert at Hampden, and two staff on reception told me they were "not accepting bookings from the general public" and all existing bookings had been cancelled months earlier. I had received no notification of that. Complete lack of empathy or offers of support left me scrambling (with just an hour before I had to go to the gig) to find another hotel and paying over £200 extra for that.I now see that other people were staying there at the time without issue, so clearly I was just being lied to as they had over-booked or lost my reservation, or I suspect, realised there was a concert on (Foo Fighters, who were awesome) and could make more money from someone else. Ye be warned.Edit - reservation confirmations added before they claim (as they have done with others) that they don't recognise my booking.

AS A FEMALE THIS WAS AN INTIMIDATING AND SCARY EXPERIENCEDO NOT STAY HERE! I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HEREHaving just returned from this hotel, I can safely say I won’t ever set foot in it again. It was a terrifying experience, I felt intimidated from the minute I stepped into the hotel, a man tried our door. I ended up sleeping with a chair behind the door to stop the men in hotel trying the door again.Only one lift was working, blood round the door frame, paint chipping off in various parts of the room.On walking into the restaurant for breakfast it was HORRIBLE, Chairs balanced up on tables and again it was quite intimidating. I can’t describe how bad the sausages looked. Apart from uncoloured and undercooked looking. We didn’t stay we left and went elsewhere for our breakfast.Looking out our window all to be seen was cigarette ends lying about. My advice would be DO NOT STAY HERE, again I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE. And definitely NOT IF YOU’RE female

Really good for the price!Comfortable and clean rooms, helpful staff and the location is relatively close to the center and a bus station of the express bus to the airport. We only stayed for one day before our flight but it was a good way to end our trip comfortably, especially considering it was a last minute booking.

The clyde hotel is by far the worst hotel anyone should ever stay in.Apart from the fact the hotel is dirty and unkept, the management team are the most confused bunch. Coming up with different rules when ever it suits them.Imagine no house keeping staff by 3pm and I am sure it's because they want to keep their overhead at the barest minimum but collecting all they can collect money wise from the council. Some of the staff are so rude! Even when they see the do not disturb sign on your door, they keep disturbing and even ask you to step out of your room because they need to speak with you at their own convenience. To ask for simple amenities the hotel is under obligation to provide they expect you to come to the reception and pick the items up yourself! What a joke! I haven't seen a hotel that expects their guests to pick up basic amenities themselves from the reception.A hotel without mini bar/fridge in the rooms...how out dated can the hotel be? Honestly it shouldn't be called a hotel it should be called a hostel!People! If you want a clean, quiet and friendly hotel to stay in, the clyde shouldn't be on the list. The worst hotel ever!

Ok hotel for the money, room was clean, but we had some issues on our stay. 1 elevator was broken. Both parking garages were closed. One looked like it was being remodeled and the other closes at 11pm / 23:00 hours, I've never seen a garage that isn't 24 hours, the staff were unaware that they closed. We drove around for 20 minutes or so- it was late and we were tired. Coffee shop on ground level was closed Sunday,

worst hotel i ever stayed at. helpless staff, dirty rooms with bugs everywhere (they use stinky spray at least once a day and all of the smell comes into room for sure) in my room all bras were broken, all the walls were with deep scratches and dirt. if you want to never see your clothes again go forward to use their laundry. location is too good for this awful hotel. avoid this place if you looking for stay in Glasgow

The Clyde Hotel is situated in the city centre. It is a very nice and cozy hotel. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is amazing. Our room is always clean. In the rooms there is everything necessary for comfortable staying: an electric kettle, a hair dryer, a TV. The Internet is also good. Thank you for your warm welcome.

Overall a pleasant stay, bed is large and comfy, price is good, location is convenient and central, close to central station, nice bathtub, amenities needed are all there: hair dryer, toiletries, tv, etc., like the nice painting on the wall. Staff a check in was polite and friendly.Things to improve on:-it was a turn-off when a hotel staff come knocking on my door nearing check-out to ask questions, and she wasn't exactly polite or friendly.-wifi password can be included with key card or pasted in the room, had to head down again to get it after check-in.
