Great location for Buchanan bus station, Pavilion theatre & city centre. Lovely warm welcome from reception (I think his name was Paul). We arrived early to ask if we could store our bags, we were thrilled to be told they had a room ready, so we're able to check in. Nice room with sofa, TV, tea & coffee. Super comfy bed & quiet room provided a great night's sleep. Great breakfast choice. Would definitely stay here again if attending the theatre.

Friendly reception and dining staff. The rooms and bathroom were clean too. Tea and coffee is available in the room but there were no biscuits. The breakfast is self-service with traditional breakfast options being served. The only thing I didn't see was an option to have vegetarian sausages. The hotel is well located for easy access to both Buchanan bus station and Queen Street railway station.

We stayed Wednesday 16th till Saturday 19th October 2024 rooms 160/477||1. The first room was EXTREMELY hot, we opened the window but was EXTREMELY noisy outside so couldn't keep it open! …

"Team Leader" Jamila was rude, prejudice and condescending as soon as I arrived at the hotel after travelling on a bus for 7 hours. She didn't even acknowledge me when I spoke and assumed I was a homeless person due to the booking be through my local council. This was not the case, not that it would matter if it was. Obviously it was a problem for her. She told me they don't take "council bookings" and was at first was unwilling to let me check in despite 2 nights being paid for. Absolutely shocking and disgusting customer service. I will be very surprised and disappointed if she is still employed at the hotel if this is her approach towards guests. Soulless and uncaring person.

Thought the hotel was really good. It felt very clean, the room was spacious, and shower was intuitive! The room was quiet but I did have a room facing the inner courtyard (which isn’t pretty, but didn’t matter). …

Just finished staying here a weekend. Great little place the staff were all really friendly from people on front desk and the housekeepers.I had an issue with my shower on Saturday morning something was wrong with the knob and the shower temperature was so hot I called Reception to be greeted by Marigold I think was her name and within 15 minutes she came to check and had me swapped in another room! So literally amazing service on her part thank you!If I ever stay in Glasgow I'd definitely stay here again. Its also about a 15 minute walk from the train station so not bad to get too.

Came here as a tourist with 3 other people and 3 big and 2 small suitcases and booked a family room. At the time we booked our room this was a 4 star hotel next to the 3 star hotel -called Holiday Inn(not to be confused with the express)- Holiday Inn is also cheaper than its Express version. Now I think only “Holiday Inn” is made for tourists and not Express.. The rooms in Express are very very tiny, not meant for more than 2 people but hotel allowed to book it for family. This is only a hotel seems to meant & made for people who are staying here for only 1-2 days and only are 1-2 people and only have 1-2 bags. I think they must not advertise it as family room. The rooms don’t have AC or even don’t have fridges. So you have to keep the window open for recirculation and will be forced to hear the road. The provided a small table fan, not even ceiling fan. The only thing that is not express about this whole hotel is the lift’s speed.

Me and my sister stayed here for a concert we had at the hydro. I've never stayed here before but my sister has a few times with her friends.I was really pleased with every aspect of my stay. Staff were very friendly, room was very clean and tidy, bed was comfy (was laughing at how high they were), breakfast service was great with plenty of options to choose from, the best being the toast lolWould definitely stay here again and would recommend to all!
