A last minute booking when we spotted a couple of nice days which we wanted to take advantage of given the poor summer this year. Chose a deluxe room and wasn’t disappointed. …

We stayed at the hotel on a dbb basis via hotel breaks. We had a warm reception on arrival, and was able to check in early. The room was large and bright, and very clean. The views out to Arran were amazing. …

Room was quite nice but don’t expect good service and definitely don’t use the car park when it’s raining. Very heavy rain when we stayed - no one warned us the car park would flood or that it was in the process of flooding - I have been happy to be woken to move the car - got up in the morning to our car with several inches of water in it - at least ours wasn’t a write off, several others were. One of the other guests took a video - see for yourself. The company accepted NO responsibility AND charged us the full room rate. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!

I arranged to meet a friend there for a coffee and a catch up. We did not realise they were now allowing dogs in the restaurant. I had travelled some distance and we only saw one well behaved dog so we decided to stay. …

Lovely stay. DBB with bottle of prosecco in the spacious, clean room. Food was delicious & great portions. Friendly staff. Spa being built, we used the sister hotel's facilities which are fab. A relaxing time, look forward to going back.

What a fantastic find. I cannot fault this hotel. The rooms are so spacious with beautiful decor despite being dog friendly. There were even dog beds and bowls in the room which our two dogs appreciated. Great access to the beach. Fabulous breakfast choice. Pity it was only an overnight stay.

Visited the restaurant on 19th October 12.00, I had the Prawn cocktail for starter and the Sea food chowder for a main. 1 hour later I had terrible cramps to my stomach and continuous diarrhea for 6 hours. My wife called the restaurant manager to explain our experience and he noted our details and phone number and he informed us that he would check if there were any other issues reported. 5 days have now passed and we haven't received the courtesy af a call asking of my wellbeing. Definitely won't be returning given the attitude of the manager 😒
