Stayed here for a week for work and it was fantastic. Comfortable and quiet room, which meant slept brilliantly all week.Cannot speak highly enough of the staff, who just go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble.Breakfast was great- every option you could think of and delicious.Room service was prompt, tasty and reasonably priced.Good range of whiskies in the bar.Location was perfect as it’s easy to get into the city centre but also walking distance from the university and all the museums and art galleries. Thanks so much. If I’m back in Glasgow at any point, would definitely book here again.

The pros:|There are only two reasons this room didn’t get a one star. It was cheaper than competitors and it is located near the city center.||The cons|The only way to describe this hotel would be underwhelming. …

After a wonderful seven-night stay at Novotel Greenwich, we checked into another Novotel, this time in an executive room—an upgrade from our previous experience! …

We decided to de-camp with all the family (wife + 3 daughters) and the two dogs this summer. Which meant staying in the UK, which meant Scotland. …

I stayed for three nights while attending a conference and found the proximity to Charing Cross Station, Glasgow, very convenient. The breakfast was great with a huge variety of options to choose from. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean, though the bathroom set-up was unusual (toilet in one closet, shower and sink in another). Lots of outlets, good natural light. Would have liked an option to turn on the AC, but having a window that opened was a good alternative.

As always, the hotel was fine but there was a building site at the back. Because there was no air conditioning, we had to keep the window open. I have never stayed in such a noisy room, and hardly slept at all.

The hotel is great but construction in the area and inexperienced staff knock the rating down a bit. I must say the staff is friendly and helpful but the kitchen is on my must-avoid list. Oversized dishes and portions that cost far too much for the quality, is what leads me to create this review. The rooms are great and the location is walking distance to all the fun of Glasgow. My lack of 5 stars on the location is only due to the high volume of noise from nearby clubs and construction.

As many Novotels this complies with what it offers. The bar is nice. The breakfast could be better but is totally acceptable. The service very good. HOWEVER, the elevators are a complete disaster. They are slow and have a non-touch/sensor button system that makes them stop in every floor. Specially at peak hours, you can wait a lot to be able to get in. Parking is very good.

Staff was very friendly and helped us get a taxi to an activity outside of the city center. The room was alright and the bed was fairly comfortable, but it was in need of some modern updates. I hated that the toilet was in a separate room next to the bathroom. Being in there with the door closed was claustrophobic and the toilet flush was so loud. They tout sustainability all over the hotel and it's admirable they are making these strides. For each day you hang a tag on your door to not service your room, they give you a $5 credit to the hotel bar. An easy sustainability initiative would be to add a vegan breakfast. We had to go elsewhere for breakfast because there were no options for me.The hotel location was central to our activities which was nice. Not the fault of the hotel, but construction was going on near door to the hotel and woke us up two of the days we were there. If we had known that before booking, we would not have booked there.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and well located. Nothing was too much bother, 100% recommend! Me and my husband visited for 1 night and had the steak for lunch which was cooked perfectly. Room had hot chocolates , coffee, teas, and cans of water in the mini fridge which was a really nice touch.
