My stay at the Social Hub was great. The Location is wonderful so close to everything, in Merchant City which is a 15 min walk from a few of the train stations. The room was clean and well appointed. Great industrial vibe in the rooms. The bed was comfy and shower was fantasticThe main sections of the hotel were what really impressed me. The reception is modern and more geared to a modern tech savvy generation. Self sign in with help. Great meeting spaces. Great Social spaces with a pool table and common seating with sofas and tables. The cafe was great. I had the breakfast which had a good selection of fresh food and traditional Scots breakfast staples.I am looking forward to trying the other hotels in this chain as I travel. Excellent value for your money

For the students!! If you’re planning to stay here for a few months, here’s the real deal:When you tour the place, they’ll show you the super cozy lounge with study desks, a ping-pong table, pool table, coffee shop, cinema room, and gym. All good stuff! Upstairs, you’ll spot coffee machines, water stations, and a workshop area. Your room seems great, and they’ll mention monthly cleaning plus some laundry perks. Here’s where it gets interesting: The “quiet room” is often booked for random events, so you might get asked to leave mid-study or find surprise guests from the people who booked the cinema room and use it for filming !(almost weekly!) Maintenance (great folks by the way ) There office are inside the quiet room so they have to go in and out a lot, which doesn’t exactly scream “quiet.” . However, And one day, I left my coffee mug there; even though there's a camera, reception told me it wasn’t working, and they’d “get back to me.” A week later, I found my mug... in the gym, used by someone else!Oh, and those coffee machines in the first floor? Turns out they’re really for workshop use only, not for students. Monthly cleaning? Mostly just fresh towels and sheets; no bathroom, mirror, or floor cleaning. When I asked reception about it, they promised a redo ,but no one ever showed... for gym bring extra water as the water station isn't always refilled!!Last,, your back will start hurting after a month maybe two due to the poor quality of mattress and pillows, not to mention the lack of sleep due to slamming doors and guests speaking in the room next to you at 5 am !!The place has a welcoming vibe staff are friendly, but these are some small points to know before moving in!

Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The social hub downstairs is a vibrant and lively space, perfect for meeting new people and making connections. Its also a great place to relax. The rooms are beautiful, and the showers are high enough with strong jets (I’m 1.96m). The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help, offering great tips on local restaurants and pubs. They truly go above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic stay. Plus, the hotel is located in a super central spot, making it easy to explore the city. It’s also just a 5-minute walk to the Central Station, with a 45-minute train ride to Edinburgh. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at The Social Hub Glasgow, and I have to say, the experience was outstanding. The room was very clean and comfortable, with modern furnishings that made the stay feel luxurious. What impressed me the most was the self-service check-in process. It was incredibly efficient and user-friendly; we were able to check in within just two minutes, which is a huge plus when you're eager to settle in after a long journey. The vibe of the hotel is something that really stood out. Every corner of the place seemed to have something unique going on, whether it was a social space to relax or engage in some activities. It's not just a place to sleep—there's a real sense of community here, which is perfect if you're traveling solo or want to meet new people. The hotel has truly embraced modernity and convenience, offering a unique atmosphere that sets it apart from the typical hotel experience. In terms of location, it's hard to beat. The hotel is situated right in the middle of the city, so everything from restaurants to shops and attractions is just a short walk away. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, the central location makes it easy to explore Glasgow without spending too much time commuting.Overall, my stay at The Social Hub was a fantastic experience. Between the excellent service, the great amenities, and the unbeatable location, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Glasgow. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and vibrant atmosphere.
