Met with a very warm welcome at reception. Bedroom clean, tidy and comfortable. Breakfast cooked fresh to order. Cereal also available. Only negative was coffee is instant only some fresh would have made it perfect. …

We booked this last minute as most of the places in Carmarthen were full. It was reasonably priced as we didn't want anything expensive.|We were greeted by a nice lady behind the bar who explained where our room was. …

Parking - behind the hotel (something of a premium in Carmarthen) so if you can get in there, you're all set. It's a patch of land that can get 9 cars in there, with 6 cars being blocked in by the front 3. …

Check in was really good, we were taken up to our room by a lovely friendly girl (sorry I didn't get your name)We stayed in room 15 twin beds. The beds are way past the time they should of been replaced, my bed was partially bad, the base of the bed was so rickety that when I turned over it sounded as though it was going to fall to pieces. The mattress sagged in the middle, I felt every spring. The heating was on, this is the week the hottest weather in the UK had been recorded. The prevoius guests towels were still hanging in the bathroom. We couldn't have the window open as below was the smoking area, we are non smokers. When my sister used the bathroom at 4am she said it sounded as though there was a party in the next room, this turned out to be the houskeeping room, so we can only assume the noise was from the smoking area.Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked poached eggs on toast.

Managed to get the last room for an overnight stay at last minute. Covid guidelines followed. Clean. Bar staff very friendly. Free breakfast was good but only one person to be taking orders cooking and serving. The area to enter the breakfast room was in darkness and there is a step which could cause an accident. There needs to be a light left on

Im so glad i booked this Hotel on my trip to the UK. The hotel is amazing and clean and a home away from home feeling. Does need some upgrading but room was so so clean and very proud of the covid safety too. I met a cleaning lady Marina on my way out and she was so respectful and helpful and she is so good at the work she does and cleanliness. Workers like herself should certainly be recognised.

Great place to stay.Emma, the owner, was very helpful, great service and very welcoming.would definitely recommend this place, unfortunately had to drop a star due to the poor service and quality at breakfast. Not exactly sure what happened with this but were guessing this can't be the norm at this outstanding place, hopefully just a one off. Will be staying again in the future:-)
