Excellent day out. Amazing place with amazing Views and amazing animals to see. Jim the guide on the boat was brilliant. Very knowledgeable and set us up for a very good day ahead. Recommend this trip to anyone. Puffins are Amazing and all of the other wildlife, Birds, Seals, etc were amazing to see whilst wandering the beautiful coastal path around the island. Will be going again next year!

This island is fantastic, an incredible experience for photographers, because of the species control on the island none of the animals are fussed about you being there so you can get the most incredible photos. One of the puffins walked over a ladies foot because she was in its way to get to it's burrow, even the rabbits just sat out in the sun and don't run when you get close. All of this plus the only way there is by boat trip! A truly unforgettable experience and one I'm sure we will do again at some point

A brilliant trip to see the 42,513 puffins there! A bucket list experience which I would highly recommend. The accommodation is good - basic but clean rooms, a large kitchen with 2 cookers and a large living room.  …

We popped by for a toilet break whilst walking around the island and went into thee exhibition at the end of the day before getting our boat back to Wales. It's right in the middle of the island.

We enjoyed a lovely stay on Skomer, it really was a unique experience to share the island with a diversity of wildlife. It’s not often can you say you’ve watched a short eared owl hunt from your lounge window! …

I went to Skomer with two of my friends and we had an absolutely fantastic time. It's great when all the day visitors go home and you and your fellow hostelers are left behind to soak up the island in peace. …

One nights stay on a magical island. The accommodation was much better than I expected. The rooms are a good size with enough storage space and very comfortable beds. …

An earlier review said 15 minutes by boat...a million miles from everywhere! and that's exactly what Skomer is. Visiting and staying on Skomer is a wonderful experience and one which we will remember forever. …
