I’m so glad that the Highgate has taken off the way it has, it’s really gathered the community in Hundy for the first time since I was a kid. Tonight we went to the Halloween party and even though we missed the trick or treat trail, they still made sure that they waited out to give my two toddlers their sweets. They had some super tasty sausage and chips and a dance.The kids had an awesome time and Ozzy hasn’t stopped talking about how much fun she had. Thank you for the effort you’ve put in, to not only the pub itself but also the events that go on there. We’ll be attending them more now!Great service, friendly atmosphere, homely food, community spirit and super inviting and lovely staff! Highly recommended!(Ps. Thank you for letting my long distance family book to stay in the b&b for my wedding next June! They’re so excited!)

Food was lovely and good value for money. I went on quiz night, which was good fun. It has been recently taken over by new proprietors, and they are a friendly and professional couple. I had a very warm welcome.

Lovely pub that is now under new management. This is a go to for me and my friends since it has a pool table, such a nice spacious beer garden and plenty of seating. The inside looks quite modern and tidy. They do a lot of private events and birthday parties that look nice. Definitely worth a visit on the way back from fresh west or stackpole

Very welcoming hosts. We stayed one night but was quite a good experience. English breakfast with vegetarian option, orange juice, milk, cereal available to use. Mattress are not the best but can't fail them. The overall experience and the willingness of the hots to accommodate us was overwhelming.

A nice country inn and hotel, with a lovely bar and restaurant and friendly staff. 'Staff' being singular. One person at a time. providing us with breakfast. The place is not functioning; no bar, no food in the evening. An empty space.The morning we left it appeared to be a completly empty building. Everywhere was locked up, no staff, no breakfast,The owners car was not there. We loaded the car and drove away; did not see a soul. I expected an explaination, an appology, a refund for the breakfast not provided ... still waiting.

Booked a table to celebrate a birthday, first family meal out since the start of Covid. Great welcome when we arrived, staff were brilliant, very attentive, eager to please and gave service with a smile!! Food was fantastic and so much of it! Only a reduced menu because of restrictions but there was something to please everyone in our group. Service was quick, food piping hot and prices very good. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely, clean and tidy room and the hotel was nice and quiet. Thank you to the staff, especially the manager, who catered for a vegan and a coeliac and was very thorough with making sure the food was safe to eat. It is greatly appreciated!
