Literally the worst nights sleep you will ever have....you would get better sleep in a pig barn😁,It's rougher than industrial toilet roll...and we all know that leaves a mark🤣.Honestly your better off paying an extra 20 pound to stay somewhere decent because i can say hands down its not worth the 30 pound to stay here.I would literally give this stay a 0 out of 5.Dont waste your money...its cheap for a reason.I warn everyone now give your custom to someone else.I'd say its worth 10 pound a night max.

I haven't stayed here the night so i can't say what the hotel part is like. I have however been here for a few drinks with my dad and also with my partner and friends. I love how chilled and homely i feel when I'm there. The staff and nice and you can have a laugh with them. Also lots of fun to be had with the pool table and juke box

^^^^^ considering The Castle Hotel is in Carmarthen and not in Llansteffan i have no idea to the relevance to this comment about he pubs in the village that has been left by this other reviewer , The Castle inn in llansteffan is a very hospitable premises run by a lovely couple bob and marina who make everyone feel welcome hence you probably returning year after year , its been under new management for a few years now and has been completely refurbished and is as warm and inviting as ever hence it always being full. Now the Castle hotel in Carmarthen is a wonderful tavern old fashioned with lovely local costumers wonderful beer garden and good priced rooms at i believe £20 pp and it defiantly deserves a better rating than a one star from an idiot who didn't even read where they were they were talking about. as i previously said they actually mention they have been going to the place for decades so it cant be that bad opinions eyyyy everybody has to have one no matter how hypocritical.
