On a recent mini- break in the area, my partner and I ate here two nights running, such was the quality of the food and the service. A real gem of a place in a gorgeous location. Would heartily recommend.

We were staying locally and decided to make this our local after / during our first visit, excellent company, first rate staff and the ale is top quality, the food was really very good (we ate there three times) and dogs are made welcome....they even get free biscuits. We'll definitely call in again should we be in the area 👍.

Friendly Staff and honest food ..|Proper pub Menu Four of us were stuffed to the rafters with various items off the menu |shouldn't have had the pudding as that's a meal on its own .. would highly recommend as its a good old fashioned pub with a great atmosphere..

Eight of us got together for a celebration meal. The food took a while to arrive l, but I would rather wait than have order brought straight out - and there were a variety of meals for our table. The restaurant was a bit chilly, and a couple of the party sat with their coats around their shoulders. It's a big room, difficult to get warm I should imagine (we were eating early, too).I was grateful for the table configuration:- two tables forming a square with two seats on each side. This made it so much easier to chat amongst ourselves rather than having a long table where it's difficult to speak to everyone. Thank you Brenda and the team, for accommodating my request. The green veggies were a little "al dente" for the birthday girl (91) but everyone else enjoyed theirs. My veggie burger and sweet potato fries were delicious, as always.

Stopped for breakfast - there was a burst pipe outside, and they had no running water, but coped with a bus full of hungry trippers amazingly well, breakfast was perfect and speedily put in front of us (we had pre-booked)

Nice pub lovely friendly staff couldn't do enough. We called in unexpectedly after a trip to Newport Pembrokeshire for a no frills pub lunch and that's what we had and it was tasty and good value for money.
