Went for dinner on a busy Sunday evening of the bank holiday weekend.Super friendly and helpful staff especially Meg & Katie. Great drinks selection including fab cocktails.Food / menu is very much based around the burgers. We both had burgers which were excellent.Good value, high recommend.

I just had a wonderful night's sleep in a cozy room in the "loft" of this inn in Llandovery, Wales. I had booked it in advance from the United States.  …

After a motorcycle ride-out across the Brecon Beacons, including the Black Mountain Pass, we were looking forward to staying at The Bear Inn, Llandovery - we were not disappointed. …

Went to the Bear in on a recommendation . Not impressed. Service was not good at all. Had to interrupt the staffs dinner to have us settle the bill. Ordered the noodles and was swimming in grease, no attempts to offer a discount and still paid over twenty pounds for one drink ( pint of beer ) and the greasy noddles. Pretty disappointed. Over priced.

Great place for a vegan, vegi or gluten free diners with plenty of choice. Food quality was high and there was a nice selection of dishes. For meat eaters the grizzly burger is well worth it's cost with a lot of focus on freshness of ingredients. They also had a good beer selection, the interior was bright with lots of plant and staff were very friendly. Only negative is we were overcharged for drinks which soured our experience slightly but all in all nice place to stop off if staying local or passing through.

Whilst on holiday in Wales we were recommended to go to the Bear inn for food. It was really easy to book a table , they welcomed our dog and were very friendly when we arrived. They were attentative to our table, and the waitress was very knowledgeable about the food and drinks they served, which came quickly once ordered. The food was also delicious! The overall experience was stress free and enjoyable. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat!

Only came for a meal, so can't say anything about rooms, but food was amazing. wonderful staff was helpful and very kind. Menu is definitely wide range, anyone can find what they like 😃we had starters as mains as didn't want a big meal, but some of us had mains and enjoyed it. We had a meal here twice while staying in Llandeilo as non of the pubs there seemed anything as good. Also I am not a fan of fries but theirs were su yummy (thin and crispy). Also dog friendly

The food is too expensive for what you get, £8.95 for kids meals, probably 20 - 25% more than it should be and the Singapore noodles came straight out of a packet, very disappointing. Beer and cider both good though.
