Had a fantastic meal at the Y Porth this evening. Amazing view from the restaurant, it’s like a tree house over a river! ||Food was excellent - delicious Scallops and fabulous pork loin special. Cooked perfectly, great flavours and great value.||Also had some Evans Evans beer on that was equally good!

I just want to say a very BIG "THANK YOU". We had friends come from Oxfordshire who stayed for 3 nights ( we stayed for one, as we live just up the road !). …

We visited with friends and family as we've recently moved to the area, so this pub is local to us. We booked in advance and advised one of us was vegan and were pleased by the varied menu choice for all. Lovely food, good/ friendly service. Nice atmosphere. We plan to return.

Rhodri and family make all guests welcome and also if you have a dog. Porth has a limited number of dog friendly rooms. Dogs most welcome in the bar but not restaurant.Great base for visiting family or weekend away. Rooms clean and comfortable. Busy pub with great food. Well priced accommodation and fantastic breakfast. We had ours in the bar so as not to leave our Jack Russel. No problem to staff. Whats not to like.

This inn has an incredible location by the river, really welcoming and friendly hosts, delicious food, great local beer. What more could you want? We stayed one night and would highly recommend. There are nice walks along the river via a park

Only popped in for a quick early pint having had cause to visit Llandysul and in need to escape the wind and rain for a while. The pub was quiet, but I imagine it has quite a captive audience in the evenings. It's a traditional cosy pub (a TV showing sport notwithstanding), and the 'dining room' at the back has fantastic views over the river and neighbouring church. There is a riverside beer garden (and car park). The toilets were clean, albeit a bit dated. We didn't try the food (or the rooms) but this place is definitely worth a return next time we're passing through.
