We booked this for lunch for our wedding anniversary and so glad we did. We had an amazing array of dishes all absolutely delicious and good wine to accompany it. Our dogs were also made very welcome and there was a very relaxed atmosphere. Having shared 5 savoury dishes and two desserts we left with full bellies! We will definitely be returning soon and even though we live less than an hour away are tempted by the rooms so we can immerse ourselves fully in all this lovely area has to offer….and of course the amazing food and wine at Inn at the Sticks!

Stopped for lunch after a walk on the beach with our dogs at Llansteffan. Welcoming, friendly and helpful. Lovely variety on the menu. Very fresh and tasty food. Well prepared and presented. The house white was perfectly chilled. So nice that we bought a bottle to take away. Will definitely be going back with friends.

Stopped in for an impromptu late lunch after a long coastal walk. Every thing about our visit was excellent from the warm welcome to the service, lovely wine and the food was absolutely perfect. Really good concept executed exceptionally well. The only shame is that we are not local to be coming back any time soon!

Wonderful experience, some of the best food we have tasted 😋, the concept of small plates allowed you to taste a large part of the menu. Everything we had was the very best of fine dining. We stayed the night, lovely room with sensible check in/out times that allowed you to get the full experience, breakfast was awesome 👌 too.

We consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have found this absolute gem on our way home from holidaying in Pembrokeshire and even more fortunate that the people who'd booked a table were a no show so we got to fully indulge in the sublime food....oh my it was DELICIOUS. We appreciate good quality and locally sourced food and this was no doubt the best we have savoured in a long time. Everything was first class, the staff reflected the passionate nature in the food, wine and general relaxed ambience. Thank you for such an unforgettable culinary experience.

Well, what can I say, a delightful place. The staff are very helpful and pleasant, the atmosphere was great and the location is amazing. Nestled between a castle ruins and the beach with lush countryside, the village of Llanstephan is just beautiful. Now to the food. It was presented as a kind of Welsh tapas, however, no tapas has ever tasted so good. The menu is full of amazing culinary delights. So fresh, there was a delivery as we were there of lobster and crab, caught that same morning, you can not get any more fresh than that!We would like to say thank you for the fabulous service and even better food you cooked up for us, it more than topped our day. We shall return. What a precious jewel hidden in the South Wales countryside/seaside.

We had a wonderful experience at the "Sticks". Great food and friendly service in a restaurant/bar full of character and atmosphere. It's really deserving of the Welsh local restaurant of the year award. We've already booked our next visit!

I spent two nights there this weekend. Llansteffan is a fabulous location, with stunning beach and estuary. Travelling alone it was so nice to feel really comfortable there and welcome. I ate at the inn both nights and as someone with multiple allergies it was fantastic to have such excellent food and variety that also worked for me. A refreshing change and one that I really appreciated! Fantastic place to relax in - and to return to for future breaks!
