The rooms were good enough to sleep and have a shower but that was about it. They were very dated, dirty and no sockets near the bed. When checking out, the receptionist seemed rude and unhelpful.

Friendly and efficient staff, we arrived late and the member of staff on duty was Viv, absolute star, nothing was too much trouble, the lady we met the following morning was also really helpful and friendly. Will definitely book here again!

I don’t normally bother to review travel lodges as you kinda get what you expect a clean room and a tidy place to stay for a work trip. But the reception made a real effort to make me feel welcome and took some time to give some advice. Thanks to Sonia for recommending the inn on the sticks restaurant my clients loved it.

If you are looking for somewhere that looks like a hotel you can purchase by the hour then stay here its plan and simply disgusting.||Payed for breakfast that was never offered but I later found out it’s a box couldn’t the k of anything worse ||Please avoid

Easy check in, nice greeting. Room was spotless. Very pleasant. Comfy bed and lovely hot shower in the morning. All we needed for a short stop over. Very helpful staff (housekeeper Sonia, pleasure to meet) will stop again when visiting family.

The petrol station nearby is being revamped & we were warned that it might be noisy from 06.00 hrs. We had a room at the other end of the building which was quiet and clean. Comfortable bed. An ideal stop over before catching the ferry to Ireland.

A fantastic stay! I was called out last minute to a work meeting and needed a hotel. Easy to book and no hassle at all. Adele on the desk was a star. Friendly, helpful and to be honest, I’d stay again due to her as you don’t get customer service like this often. Thank you Adele! Nat.

I had to leave a review as I was (and still am) gobsmacked by how this was allowed to happen. I get that pillowcases may have a few marks and signs of wear...after all, Travel Lodge is the budget's budget hotel, but seriously, how did this come out of laundry and back into the room? Even worse, I don't think these are clean, so whoever is charged with hotel cleaning needs to look at how staff monitor the use of additional pillows. Shocking. I won't be staying here again.

My name is Vishal Singh, and my family and I reserved four rooms at this hotel for the night of August 22, 2024. We arrived at approximately 10 PM. The treatment we received from the receptionist was utterly unacceptable; it made us feel as though we were unwelcome guests. Despite having paid for our stay, the service was subpar, and the receptionist appeared to assume that we were inexperienced travelers. It is astonishing that someone in the hospitality sector could exhibit such rudeness and abruptness. Her behavior suggested a bias against us, as she aggressively enforced health and safety protocols, implying that we were unaware of such matters. I was accompanied by my elderly mother, who has physical challenges, and the receptionist's incessant chatter was both inappropriate and distracting. My priority was to ensure my mother's comfort, rather than to engage with her unwarranted attitude. I would not recommend any one coming here .This is simply disaster. This is my second year in a row to stay here and she made us felt completely UNWELCOME . Hence we take our business somewhere else. ....she should be ashamed of being such an unkind human being in the Hospitality sector

On arriving, there was a massive pot hole in the middle of the entrance. Hope they get that filled soon. The room was good, clean and tidy. There was a bit of rust around the bath taps and not much water pressure in the shower.There was only decaf coffee available, but I guess we can all do with having less caffeine lol. Failing that, do what I did…pop outside to Starbucks
