The website cannot quite do justice to this place, filled with beautiful art and pottery and furniture, and with the best choice of breakfast food I've ever encountered. Probably the best eggs on toast I've had, and I have had many... A magical location, and one which, though rural and peaceful, can be walked to from Goodwick town or train station. Wished it had been longer.

Wonderful place. We stayed five nights. Found via sawdays.co.uk. Very quiet, at the end of a dead end road. Tastefully decorated. Good food. Friendly reception. Close to the beautiful Pembrokeshire coastal path, located in the Pembrokeshire National Park. Wonderful walks can be found in Pathfinder Guide 34 Pembrokeshire.

Stayed just one night but wished it was longer. This place really should be entered into Britain's best B&B's as its really beautiful inside and out. Everywhere you look the attention to detail is superb, the host is superb, the homely and stylish feel, superb. The food, views, decor, comfort, cleanliness is superb. The only downside is that anywhere you've stayed before and after will never quite reach that mark.One word for everything about this place and if you're lucky enough to stay hereSUPERB!

Wow. From the reviews I had high expectations, but every single one of them was surpassed. Delicious food with farm fresh ingredients, comfortable and clean rooms, and Alan went the extra mile for us at ever opportunity. Wish we were there for longer- and couldn’t recommend highly enough.

From the moment we arrived we fall in love with this place. You could only hear birds singing. The garden was so beautiful and black ducks adorable. We couldn't stop watching them. Our room and bathroom was spotless clean and I really mean it. We had full English breakfast and was so delicious! There is also option for vegetarian, porridge, etc. Alan and breakfast lady (sorry forgot the name) were very kind and welcoming. Strongly recommend!

I would have liked to stay longer, I only stayed one night but it was amazing. Alan welcomed us with a wonderful dinner and the breakfast was delicious. The whole place is beautiful and he takes care of every detail to make you feel like a queen. Thanks Alan, with all my respect (3/12-3/13/23)

We stayed at the Penrhiw Farm B&B in late July. It was absolutely amazing. Definitely the best place we've been on our trip through Wales going on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.The host Alan greeted us very friendly and surprised us with a wonderful homemade dinner on very short notice (please tell him ahead, if you would like an evening meal - which we highly recommend).The house is lovely with a cozy dining area and carefully selected furniture. Also the gardens are beautiful with a well picked collection of flowers.We felt welcome and very much at home here and would have loved to stay longer.

What a gem of a B&B. It's position is idyllic, with far reaching views across the bay. We had two fabulous nights here, but could have lingered so much longer. Penrhiw is perfectly positioned for the stunning Pembrokeshire coastal path, or in our case, the myriad of amazing lanes for staggering cycle routes. The warmest of welcomes from Alan ensured the most convivial of all our cycling tour stays in this beautiful region. Our room (No. 1) was cosy and stylish with a super comfy bed and quality ensuite. Crisp linen, fluffy towels and fresh milk for tea and coffee showed attention to detail - so often lacking. Breakfast was first rate, fresh fruit juices, cereal, a lovely fresh fruit platter and a perfectly cooked and beautifully presented full breakfast, together with the most delicious coffee, ample toast rack and even Portuguese tarts!. Alan is passionate about Penrhiw and its environs and this shone through our whole experience. He is also passionate about good food, and we had the most delicious evening dinner (booking essential), accompanied by a perfectly chilled crisp Italian white, served with both style and thought. Penrhiw translates as 'Head of the Hill' and this B&B is certainly head and shoulders above the norm, and we look forward to returning soon.

We booked in and stayed for 5 nights. The rooms were very well presented. The host, Alan, was very helpful with information about things to do in the area and where some excellent beaches or walks were. Alan also provide a dinner, with dessert, that was cheaper and better quality than you could get in Fishguard.The breakfast was your normal affair of Full English, cerals, fruit (very nicely presented), yogurt, porridge etc. All freshly cooked.Alcoholic drinks are available in the evening, and you can sit in the guest lounge in front of a warm wood fire.In warmer days, you can have your dinner outside in the garden.This is a working farm, so you will hear the odd cow or chicken, but thats about it. It makes a nice change to de-stress in the countryside.We will be coming back here next year.An important note about directions... do not follow your satnav! Follow the instructions that Alan sends to you. The satnav (or Google maps) will try to send you down a road that's part of the (working) farm, and you can't get down due to gates etc.
