Keith and Jane are the friendliest B&B owners we've had the pleasure of meeting. They were so welcoming and went out of their way to help us. Rooms are comfortable, and close to Laugharne Castle.We had both the full English breakfast and the continental breakfast and both were excellent. We had 2 rooms booked, the Olive room, which is upstairs and more contemporary. And the Scarlett room, which is ground floor and has a more historic feel.Highly recommend staying here!!

A wonderful few days in Laugharne staying at The Boat House. Keith and Jane were lovely hosts and very welcoming and friendly. They made sure we had all that we needed without being intrusive. Our room was lovely! Huge, comfy bed (I'm 6'6" so it matters lol), plenty of coffee (instant and filter) selection of teas and fresh milk (not UHT, it's the little things). Ensuite bathroom was really nice, great shower too.We had a full English breakfast on our first morning, which was excellent!! Great selection of Cereals and jams for Toast too. Second morning we had the Continental option, which was also lovely! Especially, the homemade Yoghurt and the delicious fruit.The B&B used to be a Pub, and apparently, Dylan Thomas drank there and traded telling stories for booz. Which he would do while sitting in the window seat of the bar, now a Bedroom (ours during our stay, the Scarlet Room).Highly recommended and we'll definitely be staying there again

Really glad we found this little gem of a place in Laugharne.Visited this B and B with my partner and dog and booked last minute. Extremely friendly owners, very accommodating who pride themselves on their establishment and exemplar level of customer service. Our room was really spacious and was spotless, the bed was really comfy and the breakfast was lovely including the fresh coffee! The owners were really welcoming and even gave our dog some lovely roast chicken. If you are visiting Laugharne I would definitely recommend booking this B and B! Its also a stones throw away from absolutely stunning views

Beautiful, characterful and spotless b and b in excellent location close to castle, shoreline and pubs/restaurants. Absolutely thrilled to discover Dylan Thomas used to drink here in its days as a pub. Laugharne off season has a unique and unmissable atmosphere perhaps not available to summer visitors, would definitely recommend. Jane and Keith were wonderful hosts, friendly and knowledgeable.

We had a lovely 5 night stay ,keith and jane where brilliant hosts ,breakfast was absolutely lovely, nice fresh local produce, my daughter and i stayed in the olive room we had a lovely spacious room with a great modern feel and a really comfortable bed ,my sister and brother in law stayed in the scarlett room which was olde worlde, the tea tray had everything we needed. Keith has an extensive knowledge of the local area,which is very helpful .couldnt fault it.

Keith & Jane were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was excellent. It felt as though nothing was too much trouble. They also made our young English Springer Spaniel feel at home and spoilt him with a sausage on several mornings. We’d definitely stay here again!

The Boathouse was a brilliant find, after I’d spent ages trying to find a last minute B & B for my partner & I plus our dog. The hosts, Keith & Jane were so warm, friendly and welcoming. Our room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and the cooked breakfasts were great, using locally sourced ingredients. Keith even makes his own delicious hash browns!! To top it all, they welcomed our little terrier and even gave him his own sausage each morning. Fantastic customer service all round and we would definitely stay at The Boat House again.Leaving this review from, Kevin, me and Jakey xx
