Came across this place whilst on a route seeking out the waterfalls and it was just what we needed. Service was friendly and good coffee and cakes… we both had a sandwich and roll too which were good. Also had baby change which was great for us with a 12week old!

Food was great, service not as we remembered from a previous visit, but the staff are lovely and friendly. Lots of atmosphere and hubub on a Saturday night

Very disappointed in the service when we visited recently. Manager served us and muddled us into thinking of preferred something I hadn't. When approached and told her of her mistake I got a curt 'sorry bout that' and still charged me full price knowing that I couldn't and hasn't eaten the meal.Unexpected poor customer care.

We visited here on a Friday lunchtime on route to the four waterfalls walk.It is a beautiful restaurant/cafe, gorgeous setting, nice ambience.Plenty of choice on the menu from sandwiches, main meals, sides, coffee, tea, wine, beer, gin etc!My husband enjoyed his steak sandwich. The sweet potato fries were very nice.My reason for 3 stars is due to how disappointing my meal was. I ordered gammon, egg and chips. The meal came with a pineapple and red onion type of chutney placed on top of the gammon. The entire gammon just tasted of onion as the juices had soaked in. There was no mention of this on the menu and I specifically picked this due to a number of food intolerance I have (onion being one). I appreciate I did not mention this to the staff but often when I do I am left with hardly any choice, usually a plain salad. So instead I tend to choose wisely from a menu. Sometimes choosing to eat something I’m intolerant to over another ingredient as it will affect me the least. I mean who wants to go out for a salad and pay for the “pleasure!”.Please consider adding descriptive detail to your menu, not just for intolerance reasons. Not everyone likes onion and it’s then very awkward to send something back.

We were just stopping for a pint after the waterfall walk, but we were too tempted by the menu!We had a few of the small plates to share and they were beautiful - presentation and taste! Be sure to try the mushrooms on toast, so so delicious. The prices are cheap for the top quality of the food. Also lovely service from the staff. Can’t wait to visit again!

My girlfriend and I stayed here as a base for the Four Waterfalls hike, which is conveniently only a 10-minute drive away. If you’re planning a stay here, I highly recommend checking out the hike—it’s a stunning experience. As for the food, it exceeded our expectations. My girlfriend had the chicken curry, which she said was the best she’s ever tasted. I went for the burger, which was clearly fresh, with a generous portion size. We couldn’t resist dessert, especially with the fresh cakes on offer. The profiterole cake was delicious. The pricing was very reasonable, with two main meals, one alcoholic drink, and one dessert coming to around £45—a great deal for the quality. The service was top-notch. The waitstaff were attentive, checking in on us several times throughout the meal and always making us feel welcome. We stayed in the smallest room available, but it didn’t feel cramped at all. The modern decor and spotless cleanliness made it a comfortable space. The shower had excellent water pressure and temperature, though the shower space itself was a little tight.Overall, a fantastic stay with great food, service, and location. Highly recommended!

Room is nice, clean. Bathroom a bit smaller but fine! Food is tasty. Just a pity that it is noisy and that you hear everything from the rooms next to you. Mattress is also a bit harder, but I believe the English like it better because we have had it in several hotels

Great spot. Location and Service good. Food not so good on this visit. Ordered small plates. Wings and Halloumi were covered in thick batter. £7 each for 3 small Wings and 3 small pieces of Halloumi is poor value.
