The North star lodge is a fantastic choice of accommodation located in a great part of the Highlands within walking distance of aviemore Town centre.This was a family holiday to celebrate a birthday made up of adults and children.The lodge itself is modern inside and well decorated. There is plenty of entertaining space and the bedrooms are also a great size. The Garden is great for nice days, it comes with a built in fire pit, outdoor furniture and a very modern hot tub.It comes with some exceptional small touches such as: toys for the kids, games for all the family, logo robes & slippers for the outdoor hot tub, a welcome hamper with fantastic local goods, wood for the fire and an essentials basket to name a few.The service I received from Kirsty was exceptional, she was very responsive and helpful.I dont normally leave reviews but my experience overall was that good I wanted to share. I would 100% recommend the North star lodge to anyone heading up to the Highlands.

This was our second stay in north lodge and was as fantastic as last time. Really well equipped, spacious and attention to detail like robes and slippers, a welcome basket, spices and cooking essentials. We had a great week and Kirsty was available on the phone to help when we needed. Adults and kids loved it. Kids insisted on coming back again and don’t think it’ll be our last visit. Thanks Kirsty x

Spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and exceptionally well equipped.Although there were 8 of us, ( 4 adults and 4 children) we never felt on top of one another.Every item of kitchen equipment you could wish for, plus an emergency storage basket for items you might have forgotten.Bath robes provided - very useful after being in the hot tub.A table for eating outside on the decking.The communication with the owners was excellent.We all loved our stay in North Star Lodge!

We didn’t want to leave!!! The lodge was spotless clean and included. absolutely everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen is so well equipped, we all had robes and slippers for outdoors too. We have stayed in many properties throughout the area but this one exceeded my expectations 😍 we will be back.

Absolutely brilliant. We had an absolute blast here. This house have everything you could ever need and more. My nurse friend and myself visited for a relaxing weekend away and we had all that and more.

We had a great stay at North Star Lodge. Instructions beforehand were clear and Kirsty kept in touch. Everything about the lodge impressed us ... nothing we would change. Plenty of room. Really well appointed. Lots of towels, dressing gowns etc. Kitchen had tea, coffee, spices, jars, cleaning materials, dishy tabs etc. Even had emergency supplies in case you forgot any bathroom essentials. Highly recommend, and we plan to return.

We had a fantastic stay at North Star Lodge! Kirsty and Val were very accommodating, and put a lot of thought into what is needed for a self catering stay. There were loads of really useful and thoughtful touches like emergency supplies (thanks for the toothbrush!), games and welcome basket with local goodies. There was everything you could ever need in the kitchen, and the beds were really comfy. We loved the tub, fire pit and wood burning stove. We’re already planning next years trip - thanks for a great stay!
