A really lovely little hotel, fabulously friendly staff. The food was really good, probably one of the best crumbles of my life. Breakfast is included in the room price, and I once again enjoyed it. We were even given a small homemade keychain when we left. Thanks again!

I had the most incredible, magical 4-night stay at Atholl house. Jenny and her team were all immensely warm and friendly, helping with everything from hiking tips to takeaway breakfasts. The rooms and linens were well-decorated and immaculately cleaned (and this is coming from someone who looks closely). Their commitment to sustainability is apparent in everything they do, without compromising on guest experience, using eco-friendly paper products and sourcing food and drinks from local producers. Be sure to eat there; the food was some of the best I’ve had during my time in Scotland! Relaxing by the fire in the lounge with a good book and a glass of wine also was a joy during the rain. They’re also very conveniently located, such that all my hikes were within an hours drive.A huge thank you to Atholl for making my time on Skye so magical!

We stayed at Atholl House for three nights on our adventure through Scotland and I can confidently say it was our favorite spot. It is easy to see that a lot of thoughtfulness and love has gone into this place. We booked the King bedroom and were beyond pleased with the room - the bed was very comfortable. Not pictured was the vanity situated in a corner of the room which was perfect for getting ready each day before our exploring of Skye. We’re big foodies and the food here was some of the best we had on our entire trip. If you’re thinking of making a dinner reservation - do it ! From breakfast to dinner everything was delicious and made with care.Jenny and her team have created something very special with Atholl House. Their goal is for it to feel like a home away from home - I definitely think they’ve accomplished it. Anyone would be lucky to snag a reservation at Atholl House!

First of all, the owners have the basics dead right. We had a comfortable, thoughtfully furnished bedroom and an absolutely spotless bathroom. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent. …

We spent 4 weeks traveling around Scotland and stayed in either B&Bs or apartments or cottages and I have to say that we were actually disappointed with this house. At £180 a night, the room was both the most expensive and the smallest. The price/performance ratio was the least good here. However, we were received very friendly. There are no complaints here. But £180 for such a small room is definitely overpriced.

We didn't stay here but were camping nearby on a cold evening. Popped in for a cup of tea and we were delighted with the cosy, serene living room, friendly owner who was lovely with our dog, and had a relaxing couple of hours here.
