We parked the car behind the house in a somewhat obscure parking bay after a large banner directed us there. At the door marked reception, we tried the code we received in advance by email and were able to enter. We were welcomed there by a very nice and helpful lady. According to the accent, she's Italian. She couldn't find our booking in the huge Apple Mac. She then grabbed two room keys and asked us to follow her, she would show us two family rooms to choose from. To be honest, I thought the first one was completely OK, but she wanted to present a second one. To do this, we went out again and into a backyard, where “Cottage 2” stood, our own mini house, the door of which was held open with a screwdriver. I noticed the reason when I touched the door leaf to fully open the door. It was freshly painted and my fingers were pretty white. The prints will still be able to be used by later generations :-)On the ground floor there was a room with two single beds for the boys - including a 55 inch smart TV on the wall and a small kitchen and a small bathroom. A narrow staircase led us to a large attic with a queen-size bed and a 43-inch TV on the wall. Everything was newly renovated and very chic (the size of the televisions were shown to us later when we tried to stream films). Another bathroom was hidden behind an almost invisible door in the stylish wood-clad wall. I didn't expect such a facility at all. “Do we like it that way?” - Sure, definitely, we'll take that. We were able to open the front doors and the backyard electronically using an access code. The car was hidden in a parking bay behind the house. I really liked it. The only point of criticism was the somewhat soft bed. But I still slept well later. We can definitely recommend the Tulip Hotel! And the price was completely reasonable too.
