The hotel is a little old, but the location is unbeatable, very close to the Earl's Court metro, where lines pass that take you to the center very quickly. The rooms could be improved but sleeping is very good. The treatment of the workers is also great

Dirty rooms, smelly linen, careless staff. I had to sleep with my clothes on disgusted to touch the pillowcase with my face. And the rooms smelled damp.

FOUND A COCKROACH IN THE BATHROOMThe staff belittled us and insulted us when we reported it, they refused a refund despite having photos and showing numerous calls made with no answer. This place is terrible and I would not recommend it at all. AVOID!!

I wasn't able to post the photos but fortunately because it would have made more than one person vomit, stains on the floor, window with mold, water damage to the wall... you just have to sleep there and go away to visit and eat outside

I booked via Airbnb from a superhost named Dan a room with 2 months notice. 2 days before the arrival date the host just didn't answer my contact requests and canceled the reservation. Don't tust them!

Great discount family run hotel in the best part of London with easy connection for West end, Museums and shopping. I have stopped many times over the past years and never had any problems the management and staff are friendly and helpful the prices are probs the lowest in town, yes it's no frills down to earth accomodation but you get what you pay for and more at the Maranton.

We stayed eight nights at MHH in a Double room-Superior-Ensuite. It was Room #6 on the ground floor, behind the reception area. We found the room to be quite charming, freshly renovated, and everything we needed. Was it perfect? No, there were some minor issues we had, but for two people, the hotel and the room definitely suited our needs. It was like staying in an Air BnB - we never had any contact with the staff after initial check-in, but they cleaned the room every day and responded to any written requests left for them. The room was nice and quiet, too. We slept with the window open and never heard anything, for the hotel is on a quiet street. It's a 2-minute walk to the Earl's Court tube station and there are many nearby dining establishments to choose from, my favorite being Paul, across the street from the station. There is a small M&S grocery store at the end of the street for picking up breakfast needs and snacks. If you want pubs, there are four within close walking range.

It was my first time in the hotel, there were 2 of us.First of all regarding the hotel:I found it very well located, its price justifies its location because all transport is nearby as well as good places to have a drink or eat something, not even 5 minutes on foot. Our room was comfortable and adequate to spend our nights in, certainly if you want a luxurious and modern hotel, with high-end furniture then you will not like it. However, if you are there to have a pleasant stay in a simple room, a modern and functional bathroom as well as a very typical English interior decoration, you will feel at home. The staff are lovely, accommodating with payment, check-in and check-out times. It is also possible to drop off your suitcases after departure time so that you can wander around before heading back.In terms of communication I honestly have nothing to complain about, exchanges by email are fluid so no worries and no stress before arriving.Thank you again for your welcome but above all for your simplicity which I liked so much.
