We were there in June 2023, 4 people, two rooms, very bad experience, they told us two days before that there was no dataphone when we were already in Scotland, we had to bring cash, we asked for an invoice and there was no option, only a receipt, the owners were not there and we did the chekin with his granddaughter, they did not give us keys to the house to close and at 12 at night the son appeared in the house, he entered knocking on the doors of the rooms, he had seen light in his mother's house and who we were, what we were doing there... a very big scare, in very bad ways, the next day we contacted his mother (the owner) to tell her and he never answered us, nor did he apologize, of course we paid for a accommodation and that anyone can enter the house and in those ways, asking for explanations..... The situation with the son is very unpleasant, in my life it has happened to me that they enter an accommodation that I have hired asking for explanations in those ways and very weak breakfast, super croissant, bottled juice...

It was the first time in Armadale for me and my fiance and we both fell in love in this place instantly.A part of this amazing experience was definitely Sonas B&B with a lovely owner who gave us and our labrador a very warm welcome as well as lots of useful tips about the village.The room was cozy and comfortable. And it had the most comfortable bed we had been sleeping on since the start of our holidays over a week ago.Thanks a lot! It was a real pleasure to stay there!

What a wonderful B&B on the Isle of Skye. The owners, Mary and Tom, were so very welcoming and friendly. The rooms clean and charming. Nice breakfast too! I would stay here again. So lucky to have found this place.

We had a very pleasant stay at Sonas - it is a great place for a couple to relax. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom is very spacious and it is in a good location - within walking distance from the Ferry. The host was very nice and made a good breakfast!

Sonas is by far the most friendly place we have stayed in during our trip. Homely accomodation with comfortable beds. Lovely hosts who make you feel welcome and a very good breakfast. Conveniently close to the ferries but do travel past that because the surroundings are beautiful.

This was a great b+b a short walk from the ferry. Only stayed one night but we recieved a warm welcome from Mary, the beds were comfortable and breakfast the following morning was excellent, eggs scrambled to perfection! Would definitely stay again.
